I can watch the first three cut scenes and that is all.It glitches while attempting to load the actual game (the start by the whomping willow). Can't tell you if the game has other glitches, I can't get past the first one.I'm on an OS X 10.6.8.

Mac OS 9 Users Beware
My five year old son and I played "Sorcerer's Stone" together and loved it. I ordered "Chamber of Secrets" despite the posted comments about its "bugginess". Once we loaded it and gave it plenty of memory the game ran perfectly until...I estimate about a third of the way through, as we shifted from one "challenge trial" to another, the screen went irrevocably black, which in effect ended the game. I called Aspyr and the tech knew just what had happened as all players who are running OS 9 experience this. He told me that they are working on a patch for this problem but he doesn't know when it will be available. We'll probably wait for the patch as we loved the first third (some real improvements over "Sorcerer's Stone). Hadn't even gotten to the first Quidditch match.

Worked well for us under OSX
We bought HPCoS with some trepidation over the problems people had with buggy software. I didn't even try to run it under OS9, but under OSX 10.2 we had no particular problems. Running on a G3/300 and a G5/2000 both worked well, though the G3 was pretty darn painful. The voices ran faster than the animation because the Rage 128 card wasn't up to the task. My 5 year old loved it and even managed to do most of it on his own (minus some of the scarier parts).

EA CHECK BUGS Before you release your games
I purchased the World of Harry Potter. It has four games in it by EA. So far all of the games have had glitches and I have had to stop all the background stuff running just to get these Lame games to run. I dont have to do that for any of my other games. Shame on you EA for putting such junk out there on the market. I will not purchase another title from EA until they get some education on games making. Don't buy this game. It freezes, will not load, and you have to modify your computer's normal settings to get this thing to run. UGH.

motor skills and problem solving at virtual Hogwarts
We ran this on powerpc G5s, running OSX (iMacs).Great game, more than just motor skills, but problem solving. My daughters and I completed all the challenges, defeated the basilisk, won all the duels, but have yet to figure out how to get gold wizard cards. How does one get them?We recommend this software game for adults and children.
