Is the lid supposed to pop when the jar is opened?

The lid should pop upon opening as this is an indication that it was properly sealed. When a can or jar is properly sealed in the process it creates a vacuum within. This vacuum makes the lid flat or you can see a small indentation due to the pressure within.

what is the general expiration from time of delivery, including unopened jars?

From the manufacturer’s website: A “best by date” is on the bottom of every jar of nut butter and on the back of every bar. Nut butters have a best by date of 12 months past their production dates, and bars have a best by date of six months past their production dates. These dates are not expiration dates, but they are meant to communicate when our products are at their best. From a food safety perspective, our foods are safe to eat well beyond their best by dates. Keeping the lids closed and storing our nut butters in a cool, dark place are the best ways to make sure they are safe to eat almost indefinitely. Think of oxygen (which has a staling effect) and heat (which accelerates oil separation) as the enemies. Refrigeration makes our nut butters last even longer, but there is no need to refrigerate for food safety reasons. Your nut butters will not be harmful to eat past their best by dates, but please keep in mind that they are past their prime in terms of flavor and freshness.

do you have a creamy peanut butter with sorghum?

I haven’t seen this PB with sorghum but you could add it to your PB or regrind it into your PB or in shakes etc. good luck.

Love it.

The sugar crystals are sometimes caked on the bottom that my daughter loves. She’ll dig in with a spoon of this stuff. It isn’t too hot, which I would prefer to be kicked up a notch, but if you want subtle heat and clean ingredients, this is right up your alley!

Texture and Flavor is off

The media could not be loaded. I have ordered this in the past and loved it. The one that I just got was like a solid chunk in oil. I broke it up repeatedly over the course of two days and it still will not spread and the oil and nut butter itself is still separated. Doesn’t taste the same because it’s not evenly mixed. And of course I just found that I can’t return it and gourmet nut butter is almost $20 for a small jar.

Not sweet. Low heat at the end. Enjoyable

A little hard to mix, a bit of a gritty texture even after mixing. The flavor is great. Not sweet, can be paired with something sweet or made into a sauce. The heat is there, but in the background and not over powering. Low sugar, smaller than I expected and I definitely wouldn't spend the money ($22+) again on this, but for what it is it is very enjoyable.

Not what I expected

I was disappointed in the price for the value of the product. The peanut butter was very dry and there was no hint of the honey flavor. I paid premium price for a small jar of peanut butter that in my estimation did not live up to the description given.
