Door Draft Stopper

This door sweep is substantial and made from very thick rubber. It almost feels excessive but it works well. Installed it on a basement door to keep out cold air and insects (and whatever else lurks down there) and so far it’s been effective. Installation is a quick peel and stick with the exception of cutting it to the width of the door which was easily done with a razor blade. The adhesive is very strong, so it’s much better if you can get it lined up correctly the first time to avoid having to peel it off. Saw some reviewers ask about an odor. There was a bit of a rubber smell when removing it from the bag it shipped it in, but that immediately dissipated after it was installed.

The the big gap I had under my two doors drove me crazy. I was so glad to see these and when I installed them I was very pleased. Now the draft isn't there and these were so easy to put on took 5 minutes. Huge Improvement. Love. love.

I bought this item to put on my privacy fence gate doors, since my dog was able to squeeze out underneath. So far, I have been happy with this product. It was easy to install - just peel back the adhesive strip and place on the door - and the adhesion seems to be good, mostly. The end of one of the strips is pulling back slightly, but does not seem to be a big issue. It remains to be seen whether the adhesion stands the test of time, especially during a Michigan winter.

My older home used to have carpet....when it was removed and hardwood floors exposed it left huge gaps under the doors. This was a simpler way to handle it than buying new doors, helps with sound and temperature.

I needed this for the gap until my storm door. It was easy to cut and install. It’s good quality and has held up well the through different seasons and weather. Highly reccomend to keep drafts out!!

I think the product is decent for what it is, but the way it was packaged leaves permanent creases in multiple places. So instead of a nice straight seal, you end up with a wavy seal that looks cheap and ugly. They are not as sturdy as I expected either, they are fairly soft rubber. I was not using to keep cool/hot air out, so I cannot speak to that effect, but they do not look good. It was easy enough to install, and it is easy to install them level/straight, but the creases from them being folded multiple times really ruins it for me. Would I buy it again? Probably, but only because most of the competition is using the same product. Perhaps someone else has better packaging though.

I bought this for an older door that had a larger than usual gap that a standard sweep from the home center just wouldn’t cover. The adhesive is super strong and it also comes with nails in case there is an issue sticking to the door. All in all it works great and the thickness of the sweep material seems like it will last for many many years. Be aware of the sizing as the one I needed was taller from too to bottom whereas this could look weird if you were looking for something a little more discreet.

They said in description it is 3" unlike others, but they have the same height of 2". Wasted my time. Placed a return now. Don't buy from them if you are looking for a 3", and if you are looking for a 2", there are cheaper alternatives.

Zero holding capacity.... Lesser holding capacity than a duct tape.
