Needs a bit of work to get results right.
Seems a bit more fiddly than standard PLA. Until you get the temperature and retraction right it strings all over the place and it can be a pain to print. It is pretty transparent too so you need to thicken walls up otherwise you get to see a lot of support structure. The material itself seems to need fettling to get a finer finish but the strength is good. I print a turntable adjustable foot with a fine thread to compare filaments and some have weak threads that come apart but this is pretty solid and almost as good as my best PLA.Once set up properly it prints daily well, my problem is the transparency. Printing with the standard .8 or 1mm walls from Cura lets the support structure show through and its even more visible when glowing in the dark.

Absolutely loving it
I received the package this morning. I never used Geeetech filaments prior to this. The filament itself was vacuum sealed and then packaged in to a cardboard box. The spool is nicely wound without any tangles. After opening the pack, I went ahead and loaded it up on to one of my printers and printed a quick Benchy to try it out and I must say I'm impressed. The filament was dry, there was no crackling, bubbling or stringing during printing. There is a lovely matte finish as well. After my test experience it looks like Geeetech filament will be my main To Go supplier for Filament.10/10 Will definitely buy again!

Beautiful colour, but needs drying
Ah GEEETECH filaments.Honestly, I like these guys. They make great filaments for a really affordable price. That being said, what I found is, their filament is a bit wet when you get it.Now, packing is good, you get your roll nicely packaged in vacuum bag with a dessicant bag inside. For that, no complaints. But, dessicant bag isn't enough to keep it print ready out of the box.So I did some tests as you can see in the pictures provided. Right of the box, I've printed a temperature tower and as you can see this thing strings A LOT.Now, I actually do 3d printing services so I know that first thing you do is to dry the filaments before printing.Temperature tower might look pretty bad, but next test I did without drying it is to print a self watering pot. As you can see, doesn't look as bad, because it doesn't have fine details to cause stringing. It only needed to be in a drybox for few hours on about 50c for all that stringing to go away. It's a great filament really, I like that almost terracotta colour. One star is deducted just because it came with more moisture than some other brands. Nevertheless, I would say if you want a nice filament and willing to dry it for few hours (as you should either way). You won't go wrong with this one.All tests were done on Prusa mini plus that I use for prototyping, no special settings were needed, and after drying it prints great. Love the matte look.

great filament
GEEETECH is my go to PLA but never tried matte but have had some problems with painting prints and Matte was suggested as a good base for painted prints .The print quality is great as expected but with out the shine so when painting the pant actual took to the print rather than "pooling"

Decent ABS filament
I had a project on the go using another ABS filament that is no longer available. Bought some of this “Geeetech 3D Printer ABS Filament 1.75mm Black, 3D Printing Filament ABS 1KG 1 Spool” bed at 120C, extruder at 230, and was very impressed. That’s my experience but depending on your kit your experience may not be the same.

GEEETECH filament never lets you down!
I had very high expectations with this GEEETECH matte filament, I wasn’t disappointed now either. This filament is neatly wrapped and well wound as shown in the pictures. Slightly brittle at room temperature. I was a little scared, but so far I’ve been lucky with this filament. After the initial heat tower setup, I found that a 225 degree Celsius print head and a 65 degrees Celsius bed temperature were optimal for me. The adhesion of the layer is good. This filament also boasts low shrinkage properties and more stable printing, resulting in a better product. So far, no bubbles or blockages have formed from this item.I have very fine strings, almost cobweb-like. The printed surface is extremely smooth. Nice permanent colors like human skin or raw clay, I love it! I give it a very high score of 5 stars! I recommend it to everyone!

215 nozzle, 70 bed and works it works a treat
The media could not be loaded. This is pretty cool, charge it up with a torch for maximum effect, I didn’t have to reduce my print speed, increase nozzle temp to 215 and bed to 70 for success

Perfect for Ink Stamps
I bought this as a trial to see if I could make some hand stamps to use with the kids. And it worked perfectly, I had seen bits about it being difficult to print, but I found it great. Everything I tried worked, slow down your print speed and increase your infill and BOSCH!
