Leupold BackCountry Two-Piece Scope Mount

NO RETURN IF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT HAS BEEN INSTALLED!!
I bought these leupold Remington 700 1" High ringmounts for my Ruger M77 30.06.I typically mount and bore site all my scopes but on the occasion I could not find success.I took the rifle to a trusted gunsmith and he informed me that the rear scooe mount was slightly higher the the front ( a common problem with this particular product I was told) and when he ran out of travel for vertical adjustment. This was also the case for me.I attempted to return the defective product but the seller said that because the rings had been installed they could not take back the product. HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO KNOW THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE AN ISSUE IF I DONT INSTAL THE RINGS!!

Great Leupold mounts
Great way to mount a scope, especially on a short action rifle. It gives you more room to adjust your eye relief. Each mount can be mounted either direction to make more room for the scope. The 8-40 screws are only for rifles that are drilled and tapped for 8-40 screws. Loctite is already on the ring screws. Typical Leupold quality on these mounts.

Easy to install - check your scope size
Mounting was easy on the Browning AB3. Problem I had was that the vortex 4-12x56 I purchased still won’t fit with this “high” ring so will have to go with a rail anyway. Keeping it as I am sure it will be useful for another AB3 setup.

Loctite already on threads. Great quality
Went to the Luepold website. Entered the requested info. Ordered recommended scope rings.Perfect fit! Quality & precision. Installed easily and quickly. Allen bolts already had loctite on threads.

Did not fit the rifle properly.
The rings are handsome and well made, but extra material will have to be put under the ring closest to the butt of the rifle. I have numerous rifles on which I have installed rifle scopes and I have never had a problem similar to this.

Great quality and look good!
The screws supplied did not fit my Christensen Mesa.(Supposed to be compatible with Rem 700) Luckily I had the correct size screws from another project.

Great set of mounts!
Excellent set of mounts, with built in rings. Bought these after a set of other rings did not work out.Leupold mounts work best for Leupold scopes.
