New Replacement Sony Universal Remote Control RMT-TX100U for Sony LCD LED 4K Braviaa Smart TVs with Netflix Buttons - No Setup Needed

Just got it from Amazon delivery. Took it out of the bag (there's not packaging, just placed inside a clear plastic bag with adhesive flap). Put in fresh batteries and whoa la, everything works as the original remote that gave up the ghost the day before. It just suddenly stopped working without any warning after about 3-4 years of use. At least that's what I figured but didn't know for sure until this unit arrived and worked like a charm. Only caveat is that it needs to be pointed more directly at the infrared sensor on the TV unit. At least that's my experience so far. Your mileage may vary. If it's the case with you as well and it bothers you after using it for awhile, you can opt for the OEM version available here for about $35 ($20-$25 used). For the price (~$9), this will make a great backup in either case. Overall, very happy with it. Just works. No setup, no manual needed. Just fresh batteries. It saved the day! Hahaha. ^_<

This remote looks just like the original Sony, only without the logo. I have to press the buttons a little harder than the original, but it works exactly as I had hoped--very well. When I received the remote control, I just popped the batteries in and it worked right away. As a replacement remote, it also cost considerably less than a Sony-manufactured remote control.

Works pretty close to my original, but doesnt have the voice feature. My child likes the voice feature since he can ask it to find channels that he wants.

Lost my remote during a move and bought this as a replacement. Can't beat the price and functions well. I was never cognizant of aiming the remote before so I am spoiled now that I have to aim directly at the TV but that is a small thing
