This product keeps getting more expensive - I think I paid $25 for my first box several years ago (from a different seller). Price aside, I love this stuff. I'm blonde, for reals, not "somehow I'm blonde but my eyebrows are black" kind of blonde. So of course, my eyelashes and eyebrows are naturally have the color and transparency of raw shrimp - if said shrimp had been snacking on yellow things. I only use this on my eyelashes, and I dye them usually once every three weeks. It just enables me to go out and about with a more natural looking eye than if I caked on the mascara, and I can avoid the "shrimps for eyelashes" look that some blondes can get away with but...I can't. My eye color is too grayish and it just looks like I have shrimps for eyeballs too. Maybe, I don't know, but that's how I feel anyway.Anyway, I don't bother wrapping cotton on the ends of the sticks, or using those annoying little paper protectors, and I highly suggest avoiding any sort of application of Vaseline or oil around your eye - if it gets on your lashes, and it probably will, the dye won't stick and you will have wasted your time and money. I usually wash my eyelashes and lids with soap after removing any makeup residue, and then dry completely. I use the little sticks provided to draw along the lash line as if I'm putting on a thin layer of eyeliner - this just helps the dye saturate right to your roots, so it doesn't look like you have magic eyelashes that aren't attached to your lids. I use an old (and clean) mascara wand to really work it into my lashes, and make sure you brush it up under your lashes too. I also put it on my lower lashes - it just makes the color look so much more natural that way.One box usually lasts me most of a year.

Tint for lashes... Lasts about a month
Was nervous to dye my eyelashes for the first time. It went pretty well, though. I did get a friend to help. We ended up needing to dye the lashes twice back to back to achieve the desired result. I'm glad this came with dye remover for skin. Go ahead and put petroleum jelly around your eyes, it'll save you from having to use that included dye remover (which basically smells like bleach). The tint lasted for about a month. I'm pretty happy with it. My eyelashes weren't pitch black, but did appear much darker than their normal dark blonde color. I didn't even need mascara this past month :) My only criticism is that it's super thin and hard to apply. If it was slightly thicker- it'd be easy to apply with a silicone mascara wand in addition to the wooden sticks provided. I bought a plastic mascara eye guard to try to use to protect beneath my eye while applying next time. Will try to remember to update my review if it helps with application.

Not a miracle product but not bad
I've been using this for years, but had been getting it at a local store where it was $10 more. I find it easy to use. I don't apply it the way the directions indicate. I use a cotton swab instead of putting cotton on the toothpick looking things that are included, and I don't use the paper protectors. I do one eye at a time, and if I get a little dab on my upper lid, I just use black eyeliner for two days until it comes off on its own. I don't like the remover, it burns my sensitive skin.As with most lash tints, this will not make your lashes longer or fuller, just darker. I have very long lashes but they are turning lighter, and I hate mascara. This isn't the best tint I've ever used, but the other stuff was discontinued and this is the best alternative.

I have been using Roux Lash & Brow Tint for years, but this is the 1st time I have ordered. After using this tint several times, I am wondering if it is maybe diluted some to make the price less than buying from a beauty supply store. It looks exactly the same and does darken my lashes, but I have to use several applications to see optimal results.

Works nicely for blonde lashes.
I struggled applying it the first time, and realized after a few tries that dying the lower lashes isn't really worth it. The difference is very subtle but if you're like me and are completely blonde from head to toe naturally, this is a miracle. It's so nice leaving the house without applying mascara and feeling relatively normal. :) I think if yours are already dark you'll be disappointed. But blondes, rejoice!

This is great but is a pain when it gets on your skin. The remover removes all the color on the brows/lashes as well. The little paper things they give you to keep it is your skin are not helpful.

Great product. Not so great in shipping.
The only reason I give it one star is because when I received the product, two of the bottle tops were half unscrewed and there was no safety seal on them. There was dye everywhere and I had to toss it out. I did get my money back but they need to do something about a safety seal. I have used this product in the past for over thirty years and love it. Now I have to reorder as I did get my money back.

Three Stars
doesn't make you look like you have mascara on and isn't worth the time and effort in my opinion
