Konjac Sponge Set, 3 Pack Exfoliating Facial Sponges - Hemisphere Shape - Pure Konjac Glucomannan with Activated Bamboo Charcoal, Green Tea, Natural White - Premium Skin Care

I switched from using muslin cloths to these about a week ago, and I also switched my morning face wash on the same day I started using these, so I can't be sure which is responsible, but my skin looks better than it has in months. It feels so soft and the tone has evened out noticeably. I've been able to use only a BB cream or a light foundation the last few days. I love that the package comes with 3 different sponges (I have only used the charcoal one so far) and also that I don't necessarily need to use a cleanser with it. So if I'm not wearing makeup, sometimes I use only the sponge to cleanse my face... My only issue with them is that when I do use a cleanser, I feel like I need to use a bit more than I normally would. Hardly an issue compared to the benefits though. I 100% recommend these.

UPDATE: I've never seen better customer service in my whole LIFE! I originally gave two stars but after a wonderful representative contacted me and gave me a new set of sponges (without me even asking!!) I can now give it 5 stars! I stopped using them because the smell was actually keeping me awake at night and my boyfriend hated it too. The smell didn't go away and would linger on my face even after using a scented moisturizer or washing my face with water. I tried using the sponges several times but no matter what they continued to smell like chunks of old swimming pool noodles (sort of a chlorine smell)! 🙁 Too bad though. Cute box.

These little sponges are fantastic. I have been using these sponges for over a month now and they do a great job of removing makeup, dirt, and sebum along with either Missha Super Aqua Refreshing Cleansing Foam or CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. They are gentle enough to use daily.The only con that they have is that they feel a bit small in my hand as I'm washing. I have also used the Missha Konjac Natural Soft Jelly Cleansing Puff and EcoTools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge and these are quite a bit smaller. I have one in the shower, one at my sink, and one in my travel bag!

I love these sponges! I get rough dry patches on my face because I just moved to the desert and my skin is still adjusting. I use the charcoal one to tame my breakouts, then the green tea for calming the skin, and once everything is back to normal, I use the white sponge. This 3 pack is great if you want to try the sponges for the first time, but trust me, you'll never use a wash cloth again after this! I should also mention that I don't use the sponges with water - I use grapeseed oil to cleanse and witch hazel to tone. I rinse them in white vinegar and let them dry. I don't trust the water in my new area yet (hard water + sensitive skin = nightmare) but these work great with any routine! O and expect and little bit of irritation or "purging" when you first start using them - it breaks down the dirt and allows the pores to purge it. Also, don't put your regular cleanser on the sponge until you know how your skin will react. Give it 7 to 10 days. But coming from someone who has "tried everything", I think you'll love these! I do! Also, I won't be making another amazon purchase again, I'll buy these direct from the seller.

First let me say it was a heaven send. There was a sponge for each skin concern in our house. The White one was used with no soap, I was told it felt great on their skin and they loved how it felt afterwards. The Black one was used with medicated facial cleanser, normally drying in some areas. Their skin looked healthy afterwards, not shiny, not dry. Skin was very soft. Now Green, I decided to use it cleanser, did not pat dry. There was no pulling feeling, no dryness, no skin turning white because of dryness. I felt like I did not need any moisturizer, but my vanity got the best of me and I put some 10 minutes later. My skin feels so good I felt like it should be kissed, but since there was no one who would do it, I blew myself one.

I really liked the sponges, They are a great size and very soft on my skin, however, the smell is absolutely horrible! I used the black sponge first so I assumed that the smell was just associated with that one alone but I was wrong, they all smell horrible. They do a great job cleaning my skin and I really want to use them but I can't get around the smell. If they could fix that, this would be my number one choice for washing my face.

I haven't tried the green one yet and I gave my mom the white one (she loves it), but I am enamored with the black one. I have sensitive skin and I use it at night without any face wash and my skin hasn't looked this good since before puberty smacked the heck out of me back in the day. All the little black spots on the tip of my nose and chin were gone in about a week and the dry, bumpy skin right next to my nose is smooth and clear. I use face wash in the morning, but that's because of the quality of my mascara--this sponge doesn't stand a chance against it without soap unfortunately. If I could give up wearing makeup, I wouldn't need to buy face wash ever again. I highly recommend this sponge if you've tried everything and your skin tone is still uneven, you have blackheads, or even if you just want a better way to clean your face. It's wonderful!

I'm very disappointed. I wanted to get the makanai type from Japan. Those sponges really feel like a facial each time I use them. These are nothing in comparison. Sorry to say so but this is my experience.

I cannot agree with the last reviewer more ( the 45 year old one .) These sponges are truly amazing , although I am much younger than the previous reviewer , I agree skin does appear brighter , fresher although I must admit I do have youth on my side .I too have noticed I need to apply less products , although I am not yet onto the stage of ' anti aging serums ' as the previous , older reviewer .My quick brush of blusher is all that is required . It must be a blessing for the older ladies , like the previous reviewer , to not have rely on heavy foundation type products to hide all those cracks and lines of life !It is truly refreshing and reassuring that there are products out there which can be enjoyed by both us more youthful girls and those older , like the previous , older 45 year old reviewer who must be so relieved to have found a product to help restore some of her youthful looks from days gone by.

I was looking for a gentle daily exfoliator for my face during my eczema outbreaks because I got tired of using weekly scrubs and I couldn't be bothered getting a Clarisonic. I found out about these natural sponges and thought I'd give it a try. The thing that I liked about it was that it could be used with my existing daily face wash. It wasn't adding an extra step to my daily cleansing routine as the only change I made was using the sponge to apply the face wash instead of my hands.I used the green tea sponge first and my skin felt so hydrated after. I was really amazed at how soft and smooth my skin felt even on days when I had forgotten to use moisturiser (I really neglect my skin). Sometimes when I'm in a rush I even just use the sponge in the shower without any face wash and it works just as well. I also started washing makeup off using the sponge too so that saved on cleansing wipes. Each sponge lasts about 2 months. After that, they get rougher as they start breaking down. They could probably last longer but I wash my face with warm/hot water at night to relax before bed and that probably shortened its lifespan. Definitely repurchasing these again after I've cycled through all 3 of them.

I had never tried konjac sponges before and thought I would give them a go with this pack of three different colours and types. It was a perfect buy for a beginner because you can try each one in turn and see which one suits you best. When they arrived I was surprised at the little box - it was a lot smaller than I'd thought it would be, but it was really cute and the packaging was very high end. Ideal as a gift for someone and once you have used the sponges up you could quite easily reuse the pretty box for jewelery or cosmetics. There was a little instruction card inside and also a card thanking you for purchasing the product which I thought was a really nice touch.The sponges were individually shrink wrapped and were small and hard on arrival. I decided to use the black sponge first. On soaking the sponge for a few minutes in warm water and squeezing it to get it really soft all the way through, it expanded a lot and became soft and slightly rubbery, with a strange smooth texture. The sponges are quite small even when fully expanded, but a very nice size for use on the face. I next squeezed most of the water out. Then I added some liquid moisturising soap to the sponge and squished to make a lather, then cleaned my face thoroughly, finally rinsing off the soap with the sponge using plenty of warm water. The sponge was silky and passed across the skin very smoothly - altogether quite a pleasant feeling. It even felt nice on the eyelids and under the eyes. After patting my face dry my skin felt very smooth and refreshed afterwards but also a little tight. I rinsed the sponge well in fresh water and squeezed out the excess. The sponges come with a loop to hang them up with, so I stuck a silicone suction hook on the bathroom mirror and hung the damp one up to dry.I decided to use just plain water after that and used the sponge morning and night for about 4 days, but found that my skin stayed a bit tight and sensitive. I think I was over-using the sponge as the black one is supposed be exfoliating - and you wouldn't exfoliate twice a day for so many days running if you were using any other type of exfoliant! I also got some strange red bumps coming up on my cheeks and chin, for which I have no explanation - but this could be something coincidental (like diet), so I will not blame the sponge!Anyway I decided to stop using the black sponge and changed to the white one, which is more gentle, reduced the frequency of use, and started to moisturise my skin afterwards. This seems to work better for me, especially since I have mature dry skin that is quite sensitive. I have yet to try the green tea sponge but will do so next.I asked my hubby to try out the charcoal sponge too, which he did. He used it to lather his face before wet shaving and also to rinse off the lather after the shave. He also used it to wash his face with soap every day. He has oily skin. He said that he found his skin after a few days became a bit tight and sensitive feeling as well, so he has reduced the frequency of use to about 3 times a week. These little sponges are definitely exfoliating much more than you expect them to considering they feel so silky. They are really quite deceiving!Probably the charcoal sponge is a little more suited to a younger, oilier skin type than mine. I imagine it would be good for reducing acne or for skin prone to blackheads, whereas the white sponge is gentle enough for drier more mature skins like mine, or the sensitive skin of babies. Not sure how different the green tea sponge would be from the white one but am looking forward to trying it. I have decided not to use them with soap in future as plain water seems to work best for me. All in all a very nice product and beautifully presented, and I am happy with my purchase.

I like the packaging so much!! Cute little box that leaves the impression you received a gift.I only tried the green tea sponge so far but I like the feeling it leaves on my face after I use it. Also, I only used it with water and not with cream or makeup remover. My boyfriend told me that my face smells earthy (in a good way) after I used it even though I applied moisturiser after.So far (about 2 weeks) it held the shape perfectly (it looks new). After I use it I just run it through cold water and leave it hanging to dry. Very easy to use.I can't wait to try the other ones too!
