### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great CPU!
*by A***Y on July 17, 2013*

Seriously for 110 bucks at 3.8 Ghz this thing is seriously worth it, especially for gaming. I bought this for my younger cousin to build his new computer and this thing runs everything that Intel i5 and i7 can run gaming wise at least. If youre looking for a cheaper CPU option I would strongly suggest buying this. This CPU even comes unlocked so you can definitely get some strong over clocking done, I haven't tried to personally because it's not mine and I wouldn't try it on the stock fan but I have seen benchmarks and people clock them pretty high. This worked right out the box the only problem I had which might not even be a problem maybe I was just a noob but it was installing the stock CPU fan where I had to clamp down on both of the brackets to hold it down.Other than that this is well worth the money its not expensive and it performs amazingly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More than meets my expectations
*by J***G on December 19, 2013*

I enjoy building and rebuilding my computers, generally upgrading about every three or four years. Although I use my computer constantly, the demands I make on it are pretty light as the only games on my machine are solitaire and jigsaw puzzles and video consists of the occasional YouTube offering. What I ask for is reliability and quality at a reasonable price. My previous system failed in this regard and caused me problems from the very first. I finally had the motherboard fail completely and so after less than three years I found myself choosing a new setup. Unlike my previous system I have been more than satisfied with my choice of motherboard and CPU this time. I paired this CPU with an MSI 970A-G43 motherboard. The build went seamlessly, my boot-up time is a fraction of what it had been, and I couldn't be more happy with it since. I liked the fact that it already had its cooling fan with it which made things easier for me, not having to figure out the best pairing.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Not a true quad core, poor multi threading design, small cache
*by C***1 on October 2, 2013*

Pro's and Con's on the bottomI have always stayed true to AMD, even in their glory days when single core designs were flourishing probably all the way up until dragon systems were being created by average consumers. I've owned single core units, dual core units, tri-core units and quad-core units and I have always been impressed with the compatibility and capability of each and every processor AMD has released until the bulldozer architecture. Now it seems AMD is destined to remain at the top of the bargain bin, it's price tag clearly defined in yellow stickers and permanent red marker, almost as if shouting SALE SALE SALE.You know what you're getting, you know what it's worth. The real questions are will you be completely satisfied? Will you be left wanting more?AMD's Bulldozer architecture is unfortunately poorly optimized ESPECIALLY for applications that do not support multi-threading. This is outrageous and INCREDIBLY misleading. While AMD has certainly allowed for this with its incredibly low prices compared to Intel, they are currently selling chips that have been poorly constructed in terms of theoretical design.Understand that as multi-threading support continues to grow we MIGHT see an increase in performance however slight it may be, but i PROMISE you at that point there will be a new batch of chips already on the market and these will be long gone.Intel is ahead of the game on this one my friends. While AMD's processors certainly fall within reach of those on a tight budget they leave much to be desired in terms of relative performance.Pros:Can be overclocked well on stock fan (4.4ghz @ 52c)L2/L3 CacheCheap!Unlocked MultipliersCons:Not a True Quad CoreMulti-threading degrades performance!Small L2/L3 Cache125WI gave a chance with AMD on this one, even after all reading all the disheartened reviews. I wanted to see for myself. I have been on the AMD bus since it first left the station. Now it looks like I'm taking the next stop.Go with it if you're on a budget, im going with an i5 or an i7.
