I needed this to attach to my surface cleaner so I wouldn't have to bend over as much.It did the trick.I recommend it.

This wand provides about 15 inches of reach over the wand which comes with the 3,100psi washer. It does what its supposed to do. However, what I expected was that the 31 inch wand would attach to the wand supplied with the machine--but not so. It works fine for the portions of our house which is one story but not for the two story portion of the house. Yes, I have a ladder but the length of the supplied hose becomes a limiting factor and requires frequent relocation of the ladder. The ability to couple the 31 inch to the supplied wand or an additional wand approximating 48 inches would be helpful particularly in reaching the peak portion of the siding.

I give the Simpson 31" Extension wand 5 stars for doing what it is supposed to without any defects. It keeps my back more upright as it has a longer reach... especially if using a surface cleaner. However I did knock a star off my rating for receiving an item that has been apparently used and returned as the packaging was dirty on the inside and it was easy to slide it out from the bottom.

A real back saver! I got this when I bought my Blast Max 15" surface cleaner to replace the standard 21" that came with my pressure washer. I was a little confused at first if I needed an extension or a replacement (as were quite a few folks). This has the standard connectors on either end to use with nozzles and the wand - a replacement. It does not attach to your current wand without changing out the connectors. I found the 31" was plenty to keep from wearing out my lower back crouched over. Highly recommend this one!

I love pressure washing, but i've always hated pressure washing hunched over to either scrub the floor with a wand attachment or to get a nice even flow blasting off grime. Problem is my back gets sore from doing that for so long. Ended up getting this extended pipe and it's a real back saver. now I have proper posture and it's a whole lot more comfortable. lent it out to some coworkers and made them converts too. OEM pipe is good but this is way better. upgrade it!

I bought this extension wand probably the same reason everyone else has or close to it and that is for cleaning the driveway/sidewalk without having to bend over, the stock wand that comes with pressure washers are extremely short so when your cleaning the driveway or sidewalk you have to hunch over to do a decent job, with this extension wand no more hunching over is required, I haven't used it yet but I made sure it hooked up to the stock pressure washer wand and everything connects perfectly, highly recommended !
