Frikken great comic!
Superheroes, aliens, evil mustaches...what more could you ask for? Robots and clones, of course, and they are in there, too!

Good start
This is a pretty good first volume of Invincible. At times, it can be a little too wordy, but that's just Kirkman being Kirkman. I don't really care for the art, but it does get better when Ryan Ottley takes over. All in all, a pretty good first installment.

great read
Sensible comic with mature themes. Very different to the modern Marvel storytelling. Good character development and interesting story beats sets Invincible apart. It isn’t the Boys, but it’s also not comics for kids either. Definitely give this series a try!

New to comics? Great place to start!
Picked this up after watching the first 5 episodes of the Amazon produced cartoon released in March 2021. Gotta say the source material is strong. Character development is slow and methodical, and doesnt really fall into your typical "comic book hero" bad v good architypes. The nuance brought by Kirkman is strong (as is all of his writing) and should be given a shot if you like character driven story that delves into deep, controversial topics. This is the first comic I purchased since graduating highschool in 2009 and will more than likely complete the series.- DD

Great read.
Fun read. Great take on the teen hero view with modern day issues. Read this series at least 4 times!
