I have a 17.3 hp laptop pretty well drains in about 6-8 hrs of combined work and video streaming. My previous charger 45w wasn't charging while in use; and slow charging while off. This new 60w charger not only charges while using for email, trainings, video streaming; but charges super fast. It charged from 12% battery to 100% in approximately one hour without overheating the charger or laptop. Extremely pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend it.👍👍✌️

Perfect replacement for lost power cable!!!!

I tried another brand 3 x, but it kept dying and the cord between the outlet and the converter fell out with annoying frequency.I've now had this one for a few days, and it is much better. I bought this replacement adapter being it is 65 watt. Have had it continuously a month now, it is working fine. Output voltage is at 19.5 vdc as it should be. I also replaced the battery as it was bad and likely keeping a high load on the old adapter as it felt hot. End result is this new adapter works great, barely gets warm with the new battery. Very pleased.So if your adapter fails, do check the status of the battery. They will fail with age. If your laptop won't start up, always remove the battery and try and start the laptop with a good adapter. If it starts that is a clear indicator the battery is bad. Bad batteries can occasionally damage the AC adapter.I am HP certified on all models of laptops and 17 years of experience in the IT Desktop Support Services for CompuCom Systems Inc.

I liked that this ac adapter is very similar to my old one that got some how broken last week I haven't been able to use my computer in awhile until I got another ac adapter for it works well with my computer I hope I don't break this one because my computer has been dead for a couple of days now I'm hoping to try out my computer tonight to see how my new ac adapter works on my laptop thank you to Amazon I didn't have to go to best buy and spend alot of money on a new ac adapter I will keep ordering from Amazon for what I need for my electronics thank you for saving me a ton of money on buying a new ac adapter for my hp laptop I hope I can keep this one off the floor and in my computer bag so it won't get broken happy Thanksgiving to all the delivery drivers be safe out there driving on the roads people are crazy around Thanksgiving trying to get out of town.
