Oh dear
The media could not be loaded. Itās hard to know where to start with Autobahn Police Simulator 2.Having chosen a character to play as, you can pretty much bypass any missions and go straight out on the road if you wish to look for cars to stop or respond to radio messages of traffic collisions as you see fit. Graphically, the patrol car initially looks well produced but different lighting conditions such as dawn, dusk and darkness expose a bizarre turquoise glowing line around many of the panels, wiper blades etc. The handling of the vehicle can be very twitchy and high speed driving on the often very narrow roads can be almost impossible. There is no visual deformity to the vehicle when you collide with road furniture or other vehicles although this will trigger a āchaosā percentage which, if you reach 100% will quit the current mission forcing you to return to the point at which you accepted the mission in order to do so again. The environment is very basic and traffic is generally extremely light. Even so, the draw rate is often very poor, especially at high speed, with mountains just suddenly flashing up into view as you hammer down the autobahn trying to control the vehicle on slight bends. The gameplay is basic and just terrible. The missions are repetitive and all revolve around characters who are very wooden with no human qualities whatsoever. The voice acting is unbelievably bad. The script clearly was never shown to a police officer as everything from call signs (car 1, car 7 etc) to the way life threatening jobs are just offered up for anyone who fancyās doing them clearly shows.Arriving at the scene of an accident you stop the vehicle in a highlighted box and get out. This prompts your useless and lazy crew mate, Hans, to go off and do what Hans does best, check the drivers documents. Hans never ever appears to identify any issues with the documents of those involved leading me to suspect that this lazy individual is just coasting towards retirement. You are then responsible for putting out traffic cones, you canāt have too much fun with this as they must go exactly where the simulator tells you to put them. A word of warning at this point; for heavens sake turn off your siren before exiting the vehicle to begin dealing with the incident, otherwise the irritating continental tones will sound endlessly for the duration of the incident and you cannot get back in to turn them off. Itās also worth noting that Hans doesnāt help you out here either, he just stands next to the car like a lemon. Following the exciting deployment of traffic cones, you then get to question the wooden characters of those involved. This can be laborious and often involves your own character advising the individuals that they are āin shockā Iām not entirely sure of your characters medical qualifications but Iād hazard a guess that heās diagnosing conditions beyond the scope of a regular police officer and should leave this to trained medical professionals. Regardless, said injured party will display no signs of shock and will happily answer your repetitive questions.Occasionally an air ambulance will arrive to convey casualties to hospital; I noted that the one that turned up at a larger traffic collision had the rota blades spinning vertically through the body of the helicopter. On another occasion a cut scene showed fire and ambulance arriving at the scene, I heard sirens before witnessing the two vehicles fall from the sky onto the carriageway. It really is littered with bugs this game.Thereās probably little point in listing all the faults that I have found with the game in the first few hours of playing it. In fairness it can be fun if you want to play at being a traffic cop but donāt have great expectations that anything will work properly, look great or seem very realistic.(The video I uploaded shows Hans being his useless self in a bizarre crash barrier surfing moment)

Not so good, wouldn't recommend.
Delivery of the package was excellent, thanks. Unfortunately that's where it ends the game itself is a good concept but graphics are poor, and so is gameplay. If you like driving games don't bother

Waste of money
This game has a lot of potential but it is spoilt1) The AI is rubbish which makes missions difficult not due to skill but trying to get the AI to respond correctly2) Graphics are terrible PS2 level3) No car damage at top speed head on collission instead a damage meter flashes a percentage then recovers4) Poor controls5) Lazy interface6) Getting to missions with the limited roads often means you are on the wrong side of the road and need to drive really far to find a way to the other side7) Poor driving experience8) Very bad animation9) Very bad voice dubbing10) Lack of depth to the environmentsThis game could be amazing if they developers put the time in to make it presentable and perhaps tested the game before releasing taking on feedback to make it playable. Don't buy it, you'd probably be better off playing a side game on GTA as it will handle alot better than this.

I rather like it
I rather like this game! It does have its faults Iāll admit but I stuck with it. The camera angles once you leave your patrol car is a bit infuriating but I do enjoy it in my own opinion.
