Plastic rarely lasts long. The nylon is nice and thick, good stitching, very quality product. Its completely adjustable except for the height, so make sure your table has an adjustable arm height. We use it for our 17-pound miniature poodle, and our 9-pound miniature poodle/terrier mix, and it works perfectly. The PVC tubing that adjusts the size works well, and since there aren't instructions what we do is put the shorter leash around the neck (noose), and the longer one around the rear hips (haunch), then we scoot the PVC tubing down to make a good fit. It might not work for *every* dog out there, but seeing as to how there are many of us with small breeds that got it to work just fine, I have to question what some of the others are doing with theirs to have it not work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works very well! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on March 14, 2012* This harness works very well for my 5-6 pound maltipoo, it really does prevent her from sitting when I'm grooming her. That might be unfair of me though, as it is just speculation. I really like the fact that this one is made of fabric and not rubber like a competitor's harness.
