This is the best water diverter I have ever used. I use it for two shower heads. this is so much better than one shower head. And this one allows you to have a little more or a little less, or Even-Steven, for one of or both of two shower heads.

The media could not be loaded. Does what it says. I have a special setup though. I have a portable Washer in a closet next to my bathroom and this feeds the washing machine. I can take a shower and wash clothes at the same time.

The media could not be loaded. After checking the reviews again after installing, it looks like I got the “bait & switch” counterfeit without the markings. In any case, feels nice and heavy and made out of metal. However, the main reason I got this model was to avoid the leak at the connection point and have one that didn’t rotate after mounting. I purchased a new Delta arm and used plumber’s compound instead of PTFE tape, but it didn’t help - even with the nut securely attached the whole diverter swivels like a kitchen faucet head and leaks from the swivel point. I used this diverter to add a hose to a hand-held sprayer to the shower head. It is easy to install.Unscrew current shower head, add a couple winds of teflon tape to the threads, screw on the fitting, and tighten it with a wrench or a pliers (padded with a rag to not scratch the fitting). Then you can take it off because the hard washers that come with it makes it leak like crazy.Go to the hardware store's plumbing section, buy a rubber gasket, redo the installation, and it will work just fine. The gasket I got was by Danco, Inc, it was a #31 Top Bibb Gasket, rubber, (Fits a Crane faucet) Stock #35315. It has an outer diameter of 13/16" (about 1/32" too big. I trimmed it with a scissors) and an inner hole diameter of 11/32".The valve works great to switch between the shower head and the hand-held sprayer with a hose. Bought this to replace the valve that came with my Delta shower head/handheld shower set when the valve started leaking. This was an excellent replacement! I installed using 2 of the washers that came with it and pipe thread sealer as I could not find my Teflon tape. My first shower was amazing! Apparently, the Delta valve was also the flow restrictor. With this valve, I had the most forceful shower I’ve taken in years! The valve turns smoothly and easily. The labels shown in the pics for shower head and handheld are apparently only for explanation of the operation but are not actually on valve handle itself. You don’t really need it. Putting the valve in the halfway position divides the water between the two showers but since half the water is going to each, you get half the water volume/pressure as you get with only one of them in use. I highly recommend this shower valve!

Title and description is misleading. The body of the diverter is “solid brass” all the rest of the parts are plastic, product lasted for 6 months before the plastic arm that is attached to the diverter handle snapped off. In my case 6 months is not bad for a sub $10 diverter. Also could never get it to 100% seal, always had a slight drip to it. Sadly didn’t snap a photo before throwing it out. Do your research, if you want something that is going to last spend the $40-$60 and be happy you did.

Bought it and it last six months before the lever broke off. I bought two of them and the second one only last a few months. Not to mention its ability to loosen after everyday use. Would not recommend.
