PLAYR Soccer GPS Tracker - GPS Vest and App to Track and Improve Your Game - for iPhone and Android (Youth)

I bought this vest for my son who plays competitive travel and high school soccer. After 4 games, we compared the stats and discussed his favorite parts about this equipment. His favorite option on this vest is the heat map, that gives him his "hot spots" on the field, (and compares it to a professional player). He says it's light weight, easy to put on and take off and the quality of the product is professional. The pod charges quickly and the battery lasts well over the 80 minute games. Connecting to your phone is quick and easy. It would be nice if the app could convert the Imperial units (used to measure distance and speed) to other stand units of measurement. (It will convert the speed to miles per hour.) Overall, we would recommend this product because he says "it's a must have, once you've used it." He enjoys looking through the final stats and comparing each game.

Works great! The PLAYR system is super easy to use. Just charge the pod and insert into the vest at the start of the practice or match. Afterward, simply open the app and sync the data. Then voila! You have all the data about your player position, speed, power, distance, sprint distance, and more. There is also a cool map of where the player ran and where sprints are made, and lots more! Highly recommended!

I ordered this product at the suggestion of my son's soccer coach. We are still trying to learn everything that it actually does but so far we are excited to see the results. The app was easy to install (IOS). My son says that the vest is comfortable. We measured like they said and ordered the Small. He was close to M but the instructions said to go smaller so we did. It fits well. It charges well. We had a few hiccups putting it in correctly so a couple of times we didn't have data so make sure you are putting it in with the lights facing out and the logo at the bottom. If it's at the top you will not get any data. The heat monitor of the field that shows where he is tracks great. It also shows distance and speed. We are still trying to figure out the "ins and outs" of all of it, but I think that it will help his coaching staff be able to use the metrics to analyze his game. So far we are pleased. I think it is worth the purchase. I would like to see some kind of user guide for the app to explain all the features.

The vest is very comfortable and fits well. Smart coach does exactly what it claims to do. I really liking the GPS tracking and performance app, it is not difficult to navigate. All of the data it collects is very helpful in improving my game. It also works well in any condition.I would recommend this product.

I love the playr gps tracker as the vest has a great snug fit (true to size) and is great for training and game day use. The data is very accurate and compares your data to pro players which adds a competitive edge to your game when wanting to be better than pro players data such as power, distance, speed and heat map of the amount of distance covered.

The product works great, has great design and the platform is very intuitive. As a former pro player I have been curious to know and test what was all about these vests seen they appeared in pro clubs training sessions a couple years ago. Understanding how you train and your physical game performance is really the next step-up for athletes who are serious about improving. The more you use it on games and training sessions you will receive more accurate insights, how I wish there was this technology when I used to train daily.

I bought this item for my son who plays soccer. It worked well, initially capturing all the training sessions and games. After about a week or two it sporadically stopped recording sessions and wouldn't sync. I found it highly unreliable. The customer service was non-existent and unresponsive to emails and calls. There's absolutely no information on the website to troubleshoot and no blogs for self help. I would not have purchased the item if I knew it was so unreliable and that customer support was unresponsive.

Bought this for my son to track his training and game performance. It provides great data that he uses to improve on the field. The best part is information is really motivating him to change how he plays. One example is overall distance vs. sprint distance. He found he was covering a lot of ground each game but wasn’t making many explosive acceleration type movements. Now he tries to make quicker runs into space all due to being able to see the data after a game. The app is a piece of cake to use as well. I highly recommend this for any competitive player. You are already doing the work 4+ days a week and now you can use the information to help your game. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Habe die Weste geschenkt bekommen und war zunächst noch skeptisch, da ich mich eher zum Fußball der alten Schule zähle. Ich muss allerdings zugeben, dass mich die Funktionen der Weste absolut überzeugen! Eine präzise Datenauswertung berechnet auf dem bespielten Platz - ich bin begeistert! Auch die App ist sehr einfach zu bedienen.Meine Meinung, dass es sich um spielerischen Schnick-Schnack handele, habe ich schnell revidiert. Demnach durchaus auch für ältere Hobby-Kicker, wie ich es bin, zu empfehlen!

We were so happy with how it tracked we purchased another vest for another son, it sums up the whole game so we can review it with our kids.It would be handy to have 2 vests though because theu needs to be washed after every use.
