Great bag for traveling
Great bag. it has plenty of room. bought it because i was going on vacation and wanted to take my camera gear. it fit my canon 5d markiii with my 24-105mm, 50mm, and my 70-300mm lenses and my go pro. i also took my 13" MacBook and everything fit. after i packed everything the back pack was heavy and i was worried about the straps because some of the reviews said that the bag has some flaws with workmanship, but mines held up great. the water proof cover comes in handy. only used it once on a boat and it did what its suppose to do. kept my camera dry. i like the fact that you can strap your tripod on to the front. put my joby gorilla pod on their and i was never really worried about it. it was secure and it didn't move at all. i really liked the bag because it has the easy access side pockets for my camera. i went to the Dominican republic and when ever i wanted to take a picture i would open the side pocket, grab my camera, take a picture, and put it back in my bag.

Much more than a camera bag!!!!!!!
I absolutely love this bag! It has become my go everywhere bag!I initially bought this bag for the sole purpose of a camera bag but it has become so much more!I recently took a trip over seas and I need to take my video gear with me so instead of checking everything I threw it all into this bag. Here is the list. 15" MBP, Nikon D3200, 200mm lens, 85mm lens, 3 full size seagate external HDD's, Mac Mini, MBP Power, Powergen usb charger, iPad Mini, Nexus7, Head Phones, Earphones and a bunch of other random stuff...The reason for this list is to show you what all you can carry in this bag. I think the bag weighed in close to 30lbs and the straps still felt very comfortable and did not dig into my shoulders at all! I would certainly by other Vivitar bags and the evolution of this bag will be at the top of my list!!! I will try and put a photo up with the bag loaded!

Great bag for photo
I own a couple dslrs and recently bought a canon 6d which i gripped and a 70-200 2.8 sigma lens. This is one of the most cumbersome setups many enthusiast will have. It fits perfectly. I thought the grip and the telephoto would not fit but they did. In the lower compartment, i was able to fit that, a 24-105 and a 580ex sized flash. Theres the upper compartment also where another two or three sized lenses may fit. Finally, it was really comfortable to held a couple hours with a rebel sized dslr, a flash, and my laptop alienware (13in) which fits more than easily in the lap top bag.

Nice bag for the price
I really like the design. Lots of ways to access my equipment, the top storage area is decent sized and actually usable. This bag does not match up to the build quality of the competition, but I'll put up with slightly wimpier materials considering I paid 1/3 to 1/2 the price. I go out with it a couple of times a month and it has held up fine. It works and has been reliable for me. That's what's important.I've had it for several months and taken it on a dozen or more hikes of several hours each. I normally use it in the "sling bag" configuration. It's nice to have storage to tuck the unused strap out of the way for this. So far no seam or strap attachment rippage,Pros:- Holds lots 'o stuff, camera gear and miscellaneous. It's actually big enough that it's easy to over pack and make it really heavy.- Flexible strap configuration- Movable dividers for camera gearCons (all minor):- would like a second exterior storage pocket- would like a water bottle pouch- would like it if the interior dividers were stiffer. My gear does shift around somewhat. I keep a folded up towel packed under the main large zipper flap to help keep everything pressed in place.- The external tripod tie-on is next to useless. It works OK for my cheapo Samsonite tripod (which I only carry when REALLY pressed for weight), but is just too short and awkward for my Vanguard with pistol grip head. If I even have my tripod I'm typically carrying it with a camera mounted on it anyway.

Great Buy
I absolutely love it. I have only one complaint and so I'll say that first. The tripod holder is flimsy/ small, and the buckle that holds it is cheap plastic. Other than that, It fits my 15.9 inch laptop easily with about a half inch on both sides It has adjustable compartments which hold my canon dslr camera, and 2 lens. Also has multiple other compartments which can fit my laptop charger, mouse, sync cables, sd cards, and more.

Good deal!
Vivitar made a great name for itself back in the 70's. Digital came along and Vivitar disappeared. The Vivitar name is the only reason I bought this backpack while my high end backpack went in for repair. Well guess what. My cameras and gear have yet to return to my Tamrac backpack. This Vivitar is smaller (airplane and back appropriate) and the zippers don't have the problems I experienced with my expensive backpack.

Bag destroyed my camera lens.
Unsure how else to go about this but I am devastated. I got this awesome bag right before heading out on vacation. While standing in line at the airport I took the bag off my shoulder and my camera came flying out of the bag and destroyed my $550 lens. How could this happen you ask? Well the zipper was defective. I do think this bag would have been an awesome keeper of a bag but now on top of the bag being bad I'm out a $550 lens.

Great concept, but falling apart so quickly...
At first I liked the bag - I managed to fit in the vast majority of the gear I wanted to travel with (which is why I purchased the bag, as a carry-on).But, after only about three days of use, the waist strap buckle stitching came completely out and I nearly lost the buckle. I could've sewn it back together but in the midst of a work trip? -- no time! After ten days of consistent use, the top handle/strap/seam intersection of the bag was already tearing apart. This being one of the most essential seams, I was rather disappointed. So, what you get is what you pay for. The cheap materials used in sewing the bag are NOT strong enough to withstand normal usage of a fully-loaded bag.If you plan to fully load the bag...it will not hold up!

I like that you can access it from both sides and ...
Medium size backpack with lots of room for camera gear, I like that you can access it from both sides and the front. I can fit my mirrorless with 16-70 zoom attached and 3 extra lenses, a film camera and a flash. Also the top compartment is spacious enough to carry extras. Like that you can mount a tripod at the front instead of the side, I find the weight more balanced that way. It's also convenient to be able to convert it to a sling on left or right side as you see fit. Over all I would recommend this for any one that is just going for the day or vacation.

Buena relacion costo y diseño
Tiene todo lo que necesitas para almacenar tus lentes. Lo que no me gusto es que los lentes se mueven de los compartimentos interiores
