Q: Would this be suitable for fine hair

It would be suitable for any hair. It’s a really nice hairdryer. I always use the diffuser so that it spreads the heat more evenly, instead of blowing in one place. I like to have it on a medium heat so it’s not so damaging to my hair. I have very fine hair as well.
