Crazy good, love my beard again!
I have a curly beard and never in my life used a straightener till this product. I used to just use a dry hot towel. this product literally made me fall in love with my beard all over again. I keep catching my wife use it on her bangs. Used it about 40 times thus far with no issues yet. Heats up at a very good rate. Absolutely love it at this point. I'm hoping it lasts a while, will definitely be buying again when the time comes.

Faulty design
I have owned this unit since March of 2021, and it does a good job of straightening out my beard, however there are some Really annoying design flaws that are not going to get better with this model. First of all, I am a fairly large man and my hands cramp every time I use this danty little handle sized for a pre teen size hand. Real men have large hands, this is a crappy design for a full size real man. Secondly, the "on/off" and "setting" button is located right where your thumb will rest while trying to use the danty little handle, and is easily and often engaged inadvertently to shut off the unit while you are still straightening your beard, extremely irritating to say the least. Thirdly, the base of the brush head gets dangerously hot enough to burn your face so quickly, you often don't even realize that you have burned yourself until someone else points out the scab over the burned area. This unit obviously has no insulation to protect you from burns to the face. The price was reasonable for a basic unit, however I don't believe they should offer such a poorly designed unit to anyone at any price point, it's just a bad product for the majority of men intended to use it.I do realize that I have had this unit for a lot longer than any customer satisfaction warranty would normally allow, if in fact they even have such a thing, but I would appreciate a exchange or upgrade to a better version in a attempt to satisfy a customer that is honest enough to give a truthful review that serves real men looking to buy a great beard straighter that they will not have to complain about in the future or even return to find something better from a different manufacturer.

Best money I've ever spent on my beard
I was hesitant to buy a beard straightener because reviews of them covered the spectrum of miraculous life-saver to useless waste of money. Eventually I broke down and decided to try one. I was going for a cheaper one so if it didn't work I wouldn't be out a lot, and if it did work I could always upgrade later. This one was a little more than some of the bottom shelf ones, but I noticed that it was a father-son family business so I was happy to pay a little extra to support them. When my straightener arrived I decided to give it a test run, right out of the box. I plugged it in, flipped through the instructions real fast then used the included comb to work out tangles while it heated up. It reached temperature really fast, and I was using it within minutes. Literally. It's fast enough to use quickly on my way out the door on weekday mornings. I used it on the lowest setting, then middle, then highest (which the instructions said was the right temp for my beard type). Less than 10 minutes later, I walked out of the bathroom with the best looking beard I've ever had in my life.I've been using it for the week since I've gotten it, every couple days. Sometimes after a shower on a towel-dry beard, sometimes on the way out the door in the morning on a dry beard. I'm still working out what works best for me, but so far I am in love with it. My wife and 3 year can't stop touching it and saying how soft my beard is, now that it's softening and straightening instead of being dense, curly scruff.I've bought a few brands of beard oils, balms, wood and bone combs and brushes, and this is by far the best money I have spent on my beard.Mine came with a 1-year warranty, and for the price I paid, if it fails in a year and a day, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I hate to sound like a schill, but I'll most likely be buying a few for Christmas gifts this year too.

What a brush should be
Easy to use - heats up very fast and has my beard looking amazing in under 5 min - I recommend using a good beard balm or coconut oil to saturate/moisturize the hair first then run the brush through using the lowest setting and increasing based on your needs and hair type.
