Good and gritty, this has a good anti skid abrasion. It was frosty on the steps that I took a spill on because of ice before, after I applied this grit tape, there was no slip at all with this on the steps. It seems to adhere very well to painted steps after the steps were scrubbed clean, very easy to apply, just pull the paper off of the back and stick, so far it stays down very well.Overall I am very satisfied with this tape.

I bought this tape to add some grip to some porch steps - the plastic decking material is the first thing to get hit with weather and ices over easily. In fairness this has only been down a couple of months so the real durability can’t be assessed, but in that time there have been several wet days and below-freezing temps, and the tape is doing its job. It feels more reassuring underfoot than the deck plastic alone, so it’s an improvement. Other reviewers have indicated it is porous when wet and is no better than the unprotected surface, but that hasn’t been my experience. It has held down well - the adhesive was not as super-sticky as I had hoped when the backing material is removed, but it seems adequate, and hasn’t lifted anywhere yet.I was careful to clean the steps with 70% alcohol first, seemed like it would hold better without a layer of dirt on it. The tape is really easy to cut, just use a pair of scissors.For 60 feet of tape this seems like a good price - unless I keep having to replace the tape over time. I’ll see how it holds up to being buried in snow and update the review as required. It'll be used on some wooden (fir) steps next, it will be good to see if the results differ.

Used this on a small step ladder worked great quick to do and now much safer adhesive is very strong and bonds well.

Provides good grippy surface. I used it on my rock slider to provide grip to vehicle step in. Lasted about a month in wet weather.

Easy to apply and great traction. Tested it in a downpour and still adhered perfectly. No more slippery decks to walk on.

I slipped really nastily all the way down these stairs, and so once I had recovered enough spent ages choosing grip tape to help prevent anyone else damaging themselves. I wasn't sure how good a job I could do cutting the treads myself, but it was easy! The tape cuts really nicely and looks great - and gives a really good level of friction. You do get a chance at a second attempt if you aren't straight when sticking them down, and you are quick, but after 2 weeks of use none of the treads have slipped at all, and still look great.

Very grippy on top, very sticky on the bottom. Just as described.

I put this along the top of the tailgate on my truck because the paint had been rubbed off by closing it with muddy gloves. I was able to get it on straight using soapy water the same way you would apply a vinyl decal. It's been through several rain storms and is still sticking great. I put a piece on my bumper step as well and that is also holding up to use.

You get a lot of tape so its not gonna run out anytime soon. Very good adhesion. No complaints
