Cheap & Good
It feels substantial. Seems to work great for the price. I've run it 24/7 for a couple of months in a koi pond. No problems so far. I'll always keep one around in case I need an emergency pump.

Excellent pump.
Exactly what I needed. I purchased this product to empty a tank and it worked great. The only problem was I didn't get the attachment to connect the hose. The one on it didn't work properly. However, once a new attachment was inserted it worked like a champ. I think it needs to have a lanyard attached to it from the company as well.

Works well just be careful of the bottom
Ok. 3 stars because when I lifted it out of the drain hole for ground water runoff for my inground pool and set it on the ground, the bottom broke off and it would no longer work. Contacted the seller and explained the problem and provided a video at their request and they sent a replacement. Just received today so haven’t used it yet but the old one performed well. Only performance complaint I have is that the float cable is long so the water level has to be high to activate it or you have to reach in and lift it up to activate it but it pumps fast and moves a lot of water

Great little pump, instructions are worthless
I bought this to draw my above ground pool down to winterize it. This little pump really moves the water, I estimate it took 40 minutes to lower the 18' round pool about a foot so roughly 1200 gallons? I used a 1.5 inch pool draining hose which was actually a little large in diameter for the hose fitting that came with the pump, but the hose clamp worked fine. All that said, the instructions that come with the pump are garbage. There is some sort of float switch attached that is not really explained but I was not using mine as a sump pump so it really didn't matter. The instructions are 90% safety warnings on what not to do.For my application, I would buy this again.

Work as described.
Had a 1/4 hp pump before for years. Figured it wouldn't last too much longer. I use it in a dug well to water my garden wash cars water animals etc. Got this 1/2 hp thinking it would give me more pressure. But it was the same as the 1/4 hp one. This also has no adapter to connect to a garden hose. You will need to spend $10 - $15 To get parts. It's easier if you cut off top threaded part.

It does the job
I have a waterfall connected to a stream and at the end of the stream there is a basin for the water that circulates back to waterfall. On rainy days the basin was getting full and water was coming out but I wanted to redirect the overflow to my garden. So I bought this pump unfortunately in raised state the switch was taller than the basin edge but I was able to keep the switch low so when it raises it gets to same level that I want and it works great. Watched it on some rainy days and it started to shoot the water to my garden and brought the water level back down to where it should. I hope it last long.

Will not last
Only lasted less than 7 months, started shocking us when we touched the water, after contacting seller their suggestion was to have someone look at it & fix it & they would pay $10, what a joke! Really!! Not worth the trouble.

Great and cost efficient sump pump
I purchased this pump to help with my pool acid wash project. To rent a pump would have cost approx. $ 15 per day.I decided that if I was going to have to pay for a 2-3 day pump rental I might as well look for a purchase alternative. This pump came at a great price and did everything it needed to do. Not all connector fittings included so had to make a trip to the DIY store to resolve. Other than that - highly recommendable.
