This item is exactly as described - has a good head on it that holds the included drive well - has a good drill point that drilled into Trex well and pulled in well to connect Trex to support wood. Was so well satisfied that I have reordered this specific product since my initial purchase.

The fasteners look great once deployed but they liked to strip, typically 2-3 mm from sinking. Once stripped they are virtually impossible to remove without marring the deck. Tried predrilling through the Trex board and that reduced the strip rate. Tried predrilling through board and joist and that dropped the strip rate even further. The potential for stripping made my 100+ board fastening process (4 tubs of fasteners) quite nerve-wracking but the finished product looks great. Never had a screw break, only strip.

I purchased another brand for my Trek decking....850 sq ft. They left large mushrooms after going in. They stick out like a sore thumb. I tried these and they are virtually invisible compared to the other brand and not much more in price. I would buy a better driving bit than the one they provided though.

Nice stainless deck screws. I was building small deck from leftover Composite Decking (from friends decks). Required lots of cuts & lots of screws. These were sturdy and secure. I used a small drill (Milwaukee M12) and the drill worked hard but worked.The reverse thread for top board is nice & strong but complicated the issues if taking screws out.

Used on a 5/4" x 6" cedar deck. Was concerned that these would split the wood. They did not and worked great. No predrilling needed. Won't have to worry about these staining the cedar as they are stainless. Good screws although a bit pricey.

Needed some for face fastening of PVC decking. The only other options were not stainless steel or if they were, were collated.

These screws work great for composite, minimal mushrooming and they grab the framing . Good for stairs and picture framing /boarder coarse on composite decks

Product worked as advertised. Arrived on time and no issues with anything. Very pleased.
