HUAWEI Ascend P7 P7-L10 16GB Unlocked GSM 4G LTE Smartphone - Black

Got this phone after doing some research. Loyal Iphone user, but wanted a change due to the uninspiring outlook for the Iphone6. Tired of upgrading for nothing and a tiresome battery after 1 year of use. So after having for the weekend I can say that I love this Phone. Android system is great!!. I am making it look like the Iphone so I can have a seem less change to android. Great speed and battery lasts. With normal use FB, Gmail, Text, Line app and phone calls got about 34 hours with out charging really good considering the Iphone charging when not in use. still had about 10% left before i charged it. Fast, Fast as the Iphone5. Camera is really clear takes a bit to focus but get some really good pics. Works fine on my ATT network in USA. Speed is same as with Iphone if not better pages load faster and can move around with ease. Just still taking some time learning this new phone. Not a Teck Geek by any means just your average person. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants to avoid the high price that you will pay for the main market brands(Apple,Samsung,HTC,Sony,LG) Huawei is the 3rd largest maker of mobile electronics in the world. And have made a awesome phone in the P7,

I ordered the advertised P7 L-10, but I received the P7 L-12. Very strange. But, I was updated from a previous Huawei (4GB) Ascend to this (16GB), so obviously, it was a HUGE improvement in capacity and speed. Beyond the expected, I was really impressed with the Android version update. I'd put in a plug for Airvoice Wireless. It allows for use of AT&T network, and after calling for a new SIM (this version uses a MicroSIM), it arrived and I was up and running in no time. As others have mentioned, the phone is economical, but its speed and volume are much better in this Ascend P7 - AND the Internal Memory capacity allowed me to update and increase my Apps in a breeze. I've been using it for a week now, and I couldn't be more pleased. Having bought my first cellphone while living in Europe, I was more accustomed to Unlocked phones -- they're the only kind I've ever used, and I've changed service three time and use my phone in Europe and in the US -- I simply replace the SIM card in the phone for the country I'm in. I save money (why can't other US companies have rates like Airvoice??), and this phone helped me stay happily in the Unlocked fold. I'm sure more recent versions of the Huawei are even faster and improved, but this one suits me perfectly.

4g does not work, and there is no update from them. Other than that, a nice phone with all the power needed at reasonable price!

Great phone! I'm so glad I bought this phone, which is much better than Samsung phone I had before. The Huawei P7 has many advantages. (1) Reasonable price. (2) Great hardware. The response speed of the phone is quick. Haven't experienced any crash, which happened a lot to my previous Samsung express phone. (3) High resolution of the screen. (4) Nice back and front cameras. (5) The package comes with a earphone. (6) Plenty of storage in the phone. (7) It's very light and has a nice shape. It feels good to hold the phone. (8) The operating system is built on top of Android, but looks very pretty and gives nice user interfaces. The only thing I'm not happy with is the charger they sent me. It's definitely not for US... But I have many Android phone chargers, so it's not a big problem.

This is a very nice phone which I have not used yet fully as intended - I ordered dual sim card phone but at the moment I am using just one sim card, waiting for the other one to be delivered as micro sim card. So far so good, I would say. It works without any problems. There are some minor things which I have to get used to as I was using a Samsung (SII) before which had some better ergonomic solutions, e.g. a "real" push button instead of touch button on the bottom of the screen or on/off button being on the same side of the phone as the volume button. Those are small things but Samsung solutions are better from this point of view. Also it seems that the phone can either have two sim cards or have one sim card and memory card. So if you are using two sim cards you will probably not be able to use memory card but I will figure this out when I will be back home as I am travelling now. This would be disappointing actually. The camera is really good, I like the pictures it makes. Now I am curious how the phone will handle two SIM cards which was the reason I bought it...

Amazing quality phone. Great features. Better specs than the iPhone 6 for half the price. This is exactly what I was looking for. Something square and thin made of aluminum and glass. iOS is too restrictive for my app needs. Android is more customizable. The screen on this phone can't be beat. High pixel density and excellent color quality. Everything else is great. I suggest you get a tempered glass screen protector for both the front and back on eBay. With the phone being this thin it doesn't make it too bulky and protects the glass without the need for a case. A case will hide everything. Also if you're in the US you should get Cricket. AT&T just bought cricket so it's basically AT&T for cheap. I have tested and confirmed it. The reception and data speeds are the same. In fact, if you go to Settings>About phone>Status under Network it shows AT&T. I have the best phone and plan in my family :)

Esteticamente non credo abbia pari al momento, in ogni fascia di prezzo. Leggero e sottile e con dimensioni ottime per l'utilizzo anche con una mano sola. L'intefaccia EMUI è poi bella e ricca di applicazioni fatte bene, ivi inclusa la tastiera swype (funziona benissimo) e con tanti temi molto belli. Non ho sentito il bisogno di altri launcher, nè di altre tastiere che pure ho nel mio store. La parte radio è ottima; prende bene sia 3g, che wifi che LTE, ed il GPS aggancia molto rapidamente. La parte telefono è buona, non ho notato pecche nè nella copertura nè nella qualità audio. Schermo eccellente, brillante e con elevata definizione. Audio ottimo, soprattutto se con auricolari; in vivavoce mancano un po' di bassi. E scatta foto bellissime. Definite, equilibrate e ben esposte. La batteria non è enorme ma io non ho avuto problemi ad arrivare a sera con un uso medio. L'unico difetto? E' talmente bello che dovrete sacrificare un po' della sua sottilezza con una custodia. Io ho optato per una in pelle. Sotto i 300 euro non ha rivali, ma secondo me è la migliore scelta nella fascia sotto i 500 euro. Complimenti a Huawei, e complimenti ad Amazon per un servizio impeccabile come al solito.

The phone works perfectly. The screen is crystal clear and crisp and the speaker is a decent quality, perfect for watching videos with. It is a bit slow at times but with only 2GB of RAM and a quad core CPU you can't expect too much. The wifi range is a little worse than my 1st gen moto g but apart from these slight niggles I'm highly enjoying this phone. For £113 it is a bargin.

El móvil cuando lo tienes en la mano, no parece un 5", es ligerisimo, y a pesar de sus medidas, en la mano parece más pequeño. Cuando lo enciendes lo primero que te llama la atención es la capa de personalización UI, la verdad que no es tan intrusiva y pesada como la touch de Samsung o la que llevaba el.g2 que probé ( para mi gusto insufrible). La UI, es muy minimalista, muy configurable, y muy fluida.....0 lags. La pantalla perfecta, se ve genial, no esperaba menos con esa resolución, en exteriores hay que poner el brillo al maximo, hoy así lo he hecho.....ya que el día era muy soleado. La cámara, evidentemente no es la del Nokia 1020, pero saca unas fotos más que decentes, para mi gusto las saca muy bien....en este aspecto para mi la cámara más que suficiente, cumple y con creces. El flash perfecto. Con poca luz, también las saca decentes.......Pero no nos olvidemos no deja de ser un móvil. La fluidez y el uso del sistema así como su personalización, es fantástica. La ui, es una capa muy minimalista, muy sencilla de manejar y con un aspecto moderno y limpia. El móvil, es libre, y por eso viene sin las personalizaciones de las compañías, decir en este aspecto que las Apps de huawei que trae pre instaladas, suman, no restan.....traer de serie un limpiador de RAM, bloqueador de llamadas, ahorros de batería, Apps que puedes customizar para dejar que funcionen o mo en segundo plano....etc La verdad que al traerlas de serie......se agradece. La batería.......este era el.gran miedo que tenía.... Cumple y concreces. Ayer cuando llegó, trastee, hasta que se descargó. Lo cargue al 100% y los datos son los siguientes. 1— El uso con esta primera carga fue: 9 horas de batería, con 6:30 de pantalla, con brillo a 1/3 manual, WiFi, y 3g, utilizados para ver 2 series de 30 min en la tele( si tiene mhl), navegar todo el tiempo, a la vez que contestaba whats, descargaba aplicaciones y música. Me fui a la cama con un 15% de batería. No está nada mal.

Ich bin vor einer Woche vom Nokia N8 auf das P7 umgestiegen. Ich habe wahrscheinlich jeden Test und jedes youtube-Video zu diesem Handy gelesen und gesehen. Auch die Amazon-Rezensionen mit Interesse verfolgt. Zur Auswahl standen das Galaxy S5, Xperia Z1/Z2/Compact und Galaxy S4. HTC One (M8) ist wegen seiner Kamera (bei diesem Preis) gleich ausgeschieden. Ich muss gestehen, dass mir die Qualität der Kamera sehr wichtig ist, da ich nicht vor habe meine Kinder auf dem Spielplatz mit einer Spiegelreflex mit einem 30cm langen Tele-Obiektiv zu verfolgen. Daher sollte das Handy eine möglichst gute Kamera haben. Auf das P7 bin ich durch seinen Vorgänger (das Ascend P6) und den Preis aufmerksam geworden. Jetzt ein Paar subjektive Vergleiche: - Processor: klar ist die Konkurenz etwas schneller. Will ich dafür 250€ mehr bezahlen? -> Nein. Zumal ich das beim Bedienen gar nicht merke. Auch das S5 legt hier und da kleine Denkpausen ein. - Kamera: soll bei dem P7 nicht viel schlechter sein als bei Sony und Samsung (habe leider noch nicht viele Bilder machen können). Der erste Eindruck ist ok. Im Video-Modus ist der Autofokus etwas zu langsam. Da sind die Konkurenten besser. 4K brauche ich nicht. - Display: einfach Klasse. Finde ich mindestens genau so gut wie die Displays der anderen Kandidaten. Winkelstabiller als Sony und natürlicher als Samsungs AMOLED. Großes Lob. - Software: Huaweis Emotion UI finde ich sehr gelungen. Der fehlende App-Drower hilft Ordnung auf dem Handy zu halten. Es sieht alles sehr angenehm aus, läuft nicht weniger flüssig als das Sony und ist wunderbar anpassbar. Auch kein Problem mit Müll-Apps, wie beim Samsung. - Optik: war zuerst etwas skeptisch. Mittlerweiler halte ich das P7 für das bestaussehende Android-Handy auf dem deutschen Markt (das LG G3 hatte ich noch nicht in der Hand). Es sieht und fühlt sich genial an. - Haptik: hmm... hier liegt das Dilemma. 5" sind toll, um zu browsen, Bilder betrachten, schreiben... Auf der anderen Seite ist es für (meine) Hosentaschen sehr grenzwertig (bin nicht sehr groß). Beim Einsteigen ins Auto, stört das Handy in der Jeans-Tasche schon ziemlich. Das flache Designe hat den Nachteil, dass man das Handy nicht so einfach vom Tisch heben kann. Das Glas vorne und hinten fürt dazu, dass ich manchmal nicht weiss, wo das Display ist und wo die Rückseite (gerade nachts). Für einen Punktabzug reicht es aber nicht. Erstens wusste ich es und zweitens hat es eben auch Vorteile. Ganz wichtig: ich werde das schöne Handy in eine wenig ansprechende Hülle packen - ich habe Angst, dass es mir runter fällt (ich habe es oft in der Brusttasche). Es ist verdammt glatt. - Akku: nicht austauschbar - schade. Sollte es nach zwei Jahren kaputt sein, werde ich mich ärgern. Hält es vier Jahre, dann hat das Teil je ausgedient. Ich lasse mich überraschen. Laufzeit ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Nach zwei Tagen (und einer Nacht) habe ich noch 40% Ladung. Dabei läuft Wlan zuhause, Mobilfunk draussen, Bluetooth ca.1h/Tag (im Auto), 0,5h Internet/Tag, 0,5h mit Apps spielen, 0,5h Kindle lesen, 2-3 Anrufe/Tag, jede Stunde E-mail abfragen,... Interessant fand ich, dass die Überwachungsfunktion bereits mehr als 40 Apps gemeldet hat, die im Hintergrund (beim abgeschalteten Display) Strom verbrauchen. Habe sie alle deaktiviert - Handy läuft ganz normal weiter. Finde ich super. Wollt ihr, dass z.B. Google Kiosk immer aktiv bleibt und im Internet stöbert? Ich nicht - aus die Maus. Weiss nicht, ob das beim Samsung un Co. geht. Mein Fazit: das Ascend P7 ist ein klasse Handy. Der einzige signifikante Nachteil gegenüber der teuren Konkurenz ist der langsamere Prozessor. Ich merke diesen Unterschied aber nicht. Wenn jemand aufwändige Spiele spielt, dann sollte er sich anschauen, ob ihm das ausreicht. Für "normale" user ist Huaweis Kirin völlig ausreichend. Die Optik ist top, genauso wie die Gehäuse-Verarbeitung. Akku-Laufzeit besser als erwartet. Am Bord das neue Android (wie bei der Konkurenz). Finger-scanner und Pulsmesser will- und brauche ich nicht. Vor 1,5 Jahren habe ich noch für das Galaxy Note 2 meiner Frau 570€ bezahlt. Aus heutiger Sicht völlig Banane. Bin froh das Huawei gekauft zu haben. Ich hoffe, es hält was es verspricht. PS. mir fällt noch etwas ein: es gibt nicht ganz so viel Zubehör für das P7, wie z.B. für das S5. Noch ist der Bekanntheitsgrad wohl nicht hoch genug... Gruß an alle Leser

Mi historia con los smartphones viene de muy antiguo, y pasé de ser una defensora iphonera, de las que miraban por encima del hombro a los android (también es verdad que android por aquellos tiempos no era lo que es hoy...) a ser su más ardiente defensora una vez que lo probé y después de haber pasado por 2 iphones.... eso sí, siempre con marcas reconocidas, usease, caros Samsungs... Pero llegué al punto en que me cansé de pagar esas cantidades desorbitadas que estas reconocidas marcas piden por sus teléfonos y un buen día me aventuré y compré el P7... Me sorprendió cómo se puede acceder a todas las características de un gama alta a precios de gama media.... (cámaras de alta calidad las dos, materiales de primera calidad, exquisitos acabados, pantalla y resolución perfectas, conectividad, diseño, batería más que correcta.... ) Y de esa primera compra hace ya varios meses, éste ya es el segundo que compro, aunque no para mí, claro está, pues el mío funciona más que perfectamente todavía y no se ha quedado para nada corto.... cosa muy común en estos días en los que la tecnología corre y corre... He leído alguna opinión que dice que los Huawei p7 que vende amazon no tienen garantía en España, que son teléfonos hechos para el mercado ruso (o algo así)....Eso me asustó bastante, y lo que hice fue llamar a Huawei España para que a través del IMEI del teléfono comprobasen si estaba todo correcto. Fue un alivio que me dijeran que si, que no había ningún problema en España con el terminal que había comprado.
