Over the years I have used otterbox and life proof cases. I work in construction and my phone cases gets beat up pretty bad my life proof cases both times the charging port cover broke off at the hinge. This case however is made of mettle,rubber and glass. The outer shell is metal with an internal rubber insert that is honey combed to give you shock absorption when you drop your phone the glass screen protector keeps my screen safe from all of the debris my job has. My other cases all had plastic screen protection and would get vary scratched. So far the glass is holding up alot better with no scratches. Charging port cover feels alot more sturdy and without the hard plastic hinge as a week point that my life proof had.

the husband loves it... bragging about the strength and durability since he put it on....he loves the silver color and the tempered glass screen protection... very satisfied with this product, he's even trying to get me to replace my Harry Potter case in my phone with one of these

The case is a very nice case. I had bought one some time ago for my husband and he loved it because it was heavy duty for his phone. That one finally broke and i ordered this one and while he was putting the cover on the phone right out of the box, he had to tighten the screws. The screen cracked and he had not had it on 5 minutes. Is there some way that i can get the screen replaced or do i have to order a new cover? He really liked this and i hate that it was not that durable. I will be waiting for a reply.

I have a nasty habit of dropping my phone and also working on vehicle with phone in pocket resulting in broken screens and destroyed phones. This case is very durable, sturdy, and very waterproof. Touch screen for me is tricky but I have bigger fingers than most. Very satisfied.

Bought this for Christmas for my 16 year old son who is obviously very hard on phone. It is very heavy and def sturdy for sure. Unfortunately, the 6 very small screws seem to make their way out quite easily and you have to use a small screwdriver to put them back. In the end, he had 1 screw remaining and it was out of the return window (1 month). Thus in 2 short months...this was a big waste of money.

The first one I received the screen was crack. They did replace it very quickly but when I got the new case and put my phone in it, I lost over half of my service. I really like the look and feel but I have to take it out to use it.Update the company was very nice and respectful and was sorry the case would not work for me and gave me a full refund. Very nice company and would recommend that you use them.

Item did not come with any directions to tell me what kind of tools I needed to put case together. Then when I tried to take it apart to put my phone in it the charging cover broke off. When I found a tiny wrench that could take the screws out I finally started to figure it out. Then the next week when it fell off my night stand onto the carpet the glass to protect my screen broke. All I would like not is a replacement screen protector so I dont have to take this case apart again. But since there is no way to ask for such thing I am forced to leave this review. The case rocks and maybe I just lucked out.

It's my second one I've bought. It may allow some water in, especially if you don't cover the bottom charging port. The small charging port rubber tab tends to detach its self if you are not careful. Love the heavy duty protection from falls and accidents.
