I wear size (xl). I ordered size (xxl) and the fit was just right. No front pockets, but I don't need them (I don't ride my bike with my hands in my pocket). There is a nice pocket in the back. The sleeves are long and the jacket doesn't rise up during your ride. I haven't worn the jacket in sub-freezing weather. But it is large enough to wear a thick sweater underneath.

This is a cycling jacket but stated it could be used for running, too. I got this for my son as a windproof, but not heavy, layer for his morning runs. Hubs is same size so he tried it on. It fits and is snug, as one would want when cycling. Snug across the chest and back, grips at the bottom of the jacket to keep it from riding up too much, tapers at the elbows to wrist. Definitely windproof and kept out the cold, but one could get too hot if wearing long sleeves under this on a slightly cool day. The arms and shoulders are really tight and when holding a phone or music device, and running with bent arms, the fabric bunches at the bend too much and cuts off circulation. Not comfortable for my husband's running posture, which is similar to my son's. If he were a cyclist, this may do the trick. Not for running, though.

Overall this is a really nice coat that I'm sure will work well for most people. However I personally bought one and I couldn't get comfortable in it. The fleece inside the jacket doesn't feel right. It feels very rubbery and strange. It's too bad because otherwise I wouldn't have kept it. I recommend changing the quality of the fleece inside and then it would be perfect.

Bought this for my husband after another coat I found on a cycling group sold out. This one showed up in the suggested items link and the reviews looked promising. It is a very nice coat for the price. We live in the Midwest and my husband has worn it on extended mountain bike rides. He comments on how nice it is after each ride. Windproof and keeps him dry. He did mention that front pockets would have been nice, but he just keeps his things in his camelpack instead. Reviews said to size up and I did. He is normally an XL in fitted items like this and the XXL fit him perfect. 5'9" 190lbs. for reference.

Hubby works outdoors so I got him this to wear under his carhartt so he could stay warm without all the bulk. He loves it and wears it daily!

Would recommend to anyone looking for a well designed jacket at a great price.

While I purchased this as a windbreaker based on the description, it is NOT a windbreaker. It is quite heavier than a windbreaker. Being a hiker/biker I'd guess this is best for 30-40' F temps, not 50-60 when you'd want a windbreaker.Having said that, it's is a VERY NICE jacket especially for the price but I'll be returning it due to a error in the description.

I bought the jacket to wear while riding my motorcycle. All I can say is AWESOME! Keeps the wind out and the body warm... A real must buy!!
