Review: Works for Global VR Arcade Machines! - All I can say is wow. I was restoring an arcade machine by Global VR that requires 24v @ 5 amps (for a solenoid that provides the "kick" while firing the gun). I also needed 12v @ 5 amps (this one has 7 amps) for the boards in the machine. Before, I had to spend $200-$250 on a "Q-250D" power supply...NO MORE! For $28, I found something better than what they charge $200-$250 for. Highly recommend!

All I can say is wow. I was restoring an arcade machine by Global VR that requires 24v @ 5 amps (for a solenoid that provides the "kick" while firing the gun). I also needed 12v @ 5 amps (this one has 7 amps) for the boards in the machine. Before, I had to spend $200-$250 on a "Q-250D" power supply...NO MORE! For $28, I found something better than what they charge $200-$250 for. Highly recommend!

I have two of these power supplies. They are great for little projects. The voltages are stable. No over heating. Audibly quiet. Have had any issues with noise in the RF spectrum.
