Excellent purchase
Got this for my wife. She loves it. This is now her favorite goto knife. Very sharp easy to clean and no rust spots when washed, unlike some stainless knives.

Best purchase I've made in a long time
I am a bit of a knife snob and take care of my knives as best as I can and this knife is amazing. It goes through whatever I need it too and does it with ease. I bought this originally for my father but I may try to steal it. Beautiful knife and works great. Both my father and myself have large hands and the handle isn't to small either it feels great and works even better.

Gorgeous, amazing, perfectly sharp compact cleaver for handling melon/rolls/grape tomatoes- perfect!
This is THE most fabulous knife! (!!!)I received a wonderful promotional offer on this knife- though I was completely happy with my current knives, I did not have a larger knife/cleaver for things like melon or larger items, so I thought I would try this one.I do have another Paudin knife which I really love (8' Carver); this knife is part of the newest line of Paudin Pro, I believe. First I sliced very large cooked salmon rolls with it- no sticking and IMPECCABLY CLEAN lines (see photo!); then I sliced grape tomatoes- same! Please see my close-ups of the clean tomato slicing- this makes slicing unbelievably effortless!The weight is perfect; I'm a female who is concerned about overusing my hands, so this is actually the PERFECT size (not as large as I had anticipated, but actually a much better fit for my hands than the traditional 'cleaver' my grandmother had. Back to the weight, it's the perfect weight to make slicing larger/more awkward items without too much effort.Additionally it is a gorgeously crafted, beautiful knife which is smooth to the touch (obviously not the sharp part, ha). I will add more photos as I continue to use this. I'm looking forward to hopefully adding more to my collection!

I am pleased with this knife. Previously I have only considered Japanese manufacturers, but the VG 10 Damascus steel enticed me to try it. My only, minor criticism is that it seems a bit heavy. Grip is nicely done. And yes, it is sharp!

Love it
Most versatile knife for my needs, from cutting veggies to hacking chicken bones, it does the job. Its been a year since, the edges are still sharp with rough use.
