I gave The Joy of Being Retired to my mum when she retired, and when I asked her what she thought, this is what she said: “It made me reflect on my career, and I laughed out loud a few times. Unlike Zelinski's two other blockbuster retirement books "The Joy of Not Working" and "How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free", this book is on the less serious side. It's humorous think-outside-the-box book written for retirees to remind themselves why they retired in the first place. It's full of reminders and creative suggestions accompanied by funny cartoon images that make it a delight to read. It can be opened on any page and does not have to be read from the beginning to the end. "The Joy of Being Retired" makes a wonderful retirement gift to give to the retired and soon-to-be retired. I bought 200 copies of this book to give to clients and friends and would highly recommend other financial advisors do the same.

Nice paperback book with some light humor and some good ideas. Delivered as described.

Just a blast to read 1 or 2 items a day after retiring in December. Especially with the pandemic going on. Need a little humor!

More as a joke book.

Gift for hubby. He loves reading one page to us each day as he begins his retirement. Lots of fun!!!
