This was not the case that I wanted, but it turns out to be even better. I live in a big city and this is a perfect case for transporting my instrument to gigs, practices and jams. It's spacious and I suspect it will accommodate almost any F mandolin. My Michael Kelly fits with room to spare.The padding and exterior material are thick and feel quality. I was immediately impressed by both. The zippers are big and easy to find. The pockets aren't as big as I'd like, but most mandolin cases and bags I've seen don't have any pockets at all. This one even has a hidden pocket underneath the reflector strip.The backpack straps are comfortable and can adjust for a wide range of sizes. They can also be unclipped, or you can transform it into a single strap.Bottom line: You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

軽量ながら内部のクッション性も良くFダイブのマンドリンもしっかりホールドしてくれる。小物入れ用のポケットも充実しています。ただ、写真でもわかるようにポケットのサイズがほぼ同じなので、者の大きさによってポケットを使い分けるのがちょっとしづらいかな。その点で星1つ減点としました。

I was very disappointed because this product had everything I was looking for in a gig bag but when I received the case there was a label attached to it (covered up by a Boulder sticker) saying, "Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm." I was concerned so I e-mailed Boulder two times hoping they would send a reply to ease my mind but they couldn't be bothered to respond, so I returned the case.

This is a very well-made gig bag with plenty of storage space for strings, tuner, strap and what-have-you, but it offers only minimum protection for your instrument and you should keep that in mind if this is going to be your ONLY mandolin case.It's perfect for traveling by motorcycle or bicycle to a jam or gig of an evening, but I'd be damned careful about using it as luggage, or stuffing it into an airplane overhead locker as the padding is soft foam that compresses with a glance and offers no protection to speak of from hard knocks and dings.With that in mind, I can recommend the case IF you keep in mind what it's for: transporting your instrument from place to place with caution and care.
