As far as health and beauty products go, this one is right up there with the best money I have ever spent! True, this item is very fluid, but it came with a nail polish-type bottle with brush for application, which was just the cherry on top! I poured the product into the smaller bottle and applied it around my nails with the brush (not under, just the sides and cuticle area. It does have a faint chemically smell--most likely the potash, but that's what makes it work so well. I only left it on for about a minute (as long as it took to apply to all 10 fingers and then walk to my bathroom) and rinsed it off with water. I used a coarse wash cloth to rub all the areas where it had been applied. It did an awesome job! I'd been working in the yard for the past several days pulling weeds and digging in the dirt to get rid of crab grass for the past four days. To look at my nails, you'd have thought I was a mechanic! This stuff removed all that dead dry skin--which had also been stained by the dirt-- around my nails and they haven't looked this good in quite a while. I followed up with some good hand moisturizer because my hands were really dry from all the yard work. I've never been happier with my nails; they look like I had a professional manicure! I just can't say enough about this product. It met and exceeded all my expectations. I wish I had taken a photo of the before and after comparison, but I did't think to take a before. Maybe next time I use it I'll do just that.Now, if you don't have dead, tough skin around your nails or your cuticles are already soft, don't expect to see any major changes. But if you're a cuticle picker like me and your cuticles are rough and dry, it works wonders. I highly recommend this product. Plus, you get such a large amount of it (and a little goes a long way) as compared to other brands, I expect it to last me a long, long time, which makes it extremely economical.

Used this product along with a glass cuticle stick and very pleased with the results. Just one complaint, the applicator bottle is cracked and I will need to get another bottle.

I never write Amazon reviews, but, after hesitation about the product, I want to share my experience. I've had a bad habit my entire life of picking at my cuticles. At best they were thick and overgrown and at worst bleeding. I finally saw an ad for cuticle remover. Having never heard of it, I immediately did some research. I settled on this one because of its reviews and the applicator bottle. I was nervous because of horror stories of burning cuticles, but I decided to try it anyway.The liquid is very thin, but it goes on fine with the applicator. I discovered that going over the same cuticle 3-4 times is helpful to ensure saturation. I didn't experience any discomfort except minor stinging over one small cut. Over the course of 1-2 minutes, my tough cuticles softened and were easily pushed back. Dead skin was easily scraped off with a cuticle scraper. I did need to use a cuticle clipper for most of the cuticles the first time I used this product, but it was easy to do and easy to see where dead skin ended and healthy skin began. After one use, my cuticles were far from perfect, but dang the improvement was dramatic! After two uses, they look better than they have in years, and I needed the cuticle clippers a lot less. I'm excited to see what three uses looks like!I was diligent with the first few cuticles about only leaving it on for 1-2 minutes and immediately washing it off, but I've gotten more relaxed. No discomfort as a result so far.I love this stuff, and this bottle will last me for literally years. It's $6. Not much downside to trying it!

Cuticle remover works great. The little bottle that came with it broke after 2 days. But overall it does the job.

I use this almost weekly and I love this seller added a little bottle to brush it on! It really take the ugly cuticle away!

I have heard from other women who use this product that it's "the best" one on the market. Having used many other types of cuticle removers/softeners, I wanted to try it for myself. I appreciate that they included a small bottle with a brush to apply the product because it's a very watery solution and if used straight out of the large bottle, there's potential for a lot of waste. So, definitely utilize the bottle with brush and apply it that way. I have heard the product is strong for sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin but I didn't have any adverse reaction. It may sting on your skin as it did thr first time I used it. I simply washed it off and tried to apply it sparingly, trying to avoid the skin and instead focus just on the cuticles. It made a difference. As for softening the cuticles, this product definitely gets the job done. I used a cuticle tool to push the cuticles and trimming them was almost not necessary because a soft brush gently scrubbed off the dead skin. The bottle is going to last a long time because you use so very little. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend it.

Very good! Better than the Sally Hanson!!! Works fast and it's easy to get cuticles off your nail bed afterwards, and you get a ton of this for your money! Just buy it!
