Fun Rooster Observations - Roosters CAN crow while sitting or in small confined spaces - Though crowing is more frequent in the morning and evening, roosters crow throughout the daylight hours - Roosters can be taught to "go" in a litter box - Although roosters are territorial and can be aggressive, they can be empathetic and courteous when handled with similar respect - Roosters are true gentlemen: not only do they defend their flock, but when they find food, roosters call together their hens to let them feed first! - Roosters can recognize over 200 different chickens - who said they had a pea-size brain?!
