Files are essentially as expected. Coarse enough to shape nail as well as smoothing snags. I use these instead of trimming nails, when possible.You'll want a finer grit to finish with as these leave nail edges a little rough (I already had this brand in a pink finer grit, which work great for minor smoothing, but needed more shaping ability).I like the small size so I can stash them in every purse/car/console and have them to hand. Plus smaller means easier to get all the angles needed to actually shape every nail, and there's no wasted center that's hardly touched as the grit on the edges is worn away.Only con for files themselves is they shed their grit pretty quickly, so they're not usable for very long (applies to pink finer grit ones also). But, since there are so many in the pack, this is a small complaint for home use and easy to just refill the various stashes.When my pack came, though, there was no lid for the container even present, the files were all scattered through the other items in the box, and the bottom of the container had split as well. Shipping issue: the whole box had inadequate fill with air-bladder padding, but this had outsized effect with no lid at all.Product/packaging issue: plastic container pretty flimsy, and poorly managed if lid was missing before packing even began.

Great quality nail file, good value pack

I'm so glad to have finally found a fine enough grit emery board to not tear up my thin natural nails. Anything below 280 grit shreds my nails terribly. Most brands don't even post what the grit is on their emery boards.These are perfect, I use the rougher 280 side to actually file, and the 400 to do the final smoothing of the edge without causing much further reduction in nail length.Because they are a finer grit and less damaging to my nails, I don't mind that they wear out a bit faster, the pack contains 50 of these which will last me months.

I love these little files. They are the perfect size to keep in your purse and work very well, though they do seem a tiny bit pricey for the size. At least you get lots in one container. Don’t expect each one to last more than one full session of filing.

These are great! The small size is easy to use and they have the feel of a quality emery board.

Small enough to fit in my purse but still a good size to use on my nails. Grit was as advertised, and perfect for my natural nails. Still using the first one after 2 weeks, and it still has a ton of grit on it, and is holding together well. No peeling even though I often use the edges.

These are a high quality product exactly as described. They fit everywhere. Pocket, purse, desk.I’ll never buy a full size nail file again;>) Too much useable file surface can’t reach my nails. Not the case with these. 100% useable surface! Highly Recommended!!

I like to keep a nail file on me at all times because I perpetually chip and break nails. (Let's not get into my unique brand of clumsy!) These are tiny so they fit in purses, pockets, and anywhere else you might want to keep one. Plus They're great for quickly filing away rough edges!
