EFT for Christians (Eft: Emotional Freedom Techniques)

Sherrie's writing style is very engaging and warm, and the case studies make reading this book incredibly easy and highly informative. You will learn more about EFT and how to use it on yourself in different situations as you read the case studies than you may realize as you're reading. Her use of scripture is interwoven into the text in a comfortable, natural way that helps the Christian understand how EFT can be used in a clinical way within a faith context. As a psychology, counseling and addiction studies grad student seeking additional modalities to offer clients when in practice, EFT piqued my interest. As a Christian, concerns about how it would integrate with my faith led me to Sherrie's book. I'm so glad it did. I've enjoyed reading it, have passed it on to my mother (who's a retired pastor and is finding it very interesting), have purchased her second book, and hope to take a class from her in the future.

"EFT for Christians" is a very informative, uplifting and interesting book! I found it fascinating to learn about the Christian aspects of this wonderful healing tool. The EFT mini-manual is included in the book, which is great to learn all the basics about the technique. Something I didn't know before was the psychological techniques of the set-up phrase. "Measure the intensity of your emotion associated with a traumatic memory, then pair your memory with a statement of self acceptance. This pairing utilizes two psychological techniques called exposure (remembering the trauma) and cognitive restructuring (self-acceptance). " I'm so glad I read this book and I recommend it to everyone.

I'm learning so much from reading this wonderful EFT book. As a Christian, I've looked for alternative ways to heal emotionally that wouldn't compromise my beliefs. I definitely found that with EFT. I have a much better understanding how to apply this for myself and have experienced results. I'm so thankful with my experience, that I now am looking to further my knowledge by pursuing my certification. It's one of my goals for this year.

This works and I love how I can allow God to reprogram my mind to the mind of Christ. I love the explanation of the science of the mind and how it works. This is a great resource that I will use for the rest of my life personally and professionally and relationally.

Mind blowing. This book has helped change the course of my career-I'll definitely be getting my EFT Cert so I can help people heal with clinical EFT-the Christian aspect answers SO MANY questions for those skeptical about EFT therapy and offers all the tools you need to help yourself and others.

After following EFT for eight years I still felt something was missing and wasn't ready to jump in, until this book came out! As soon as I saw it in the EFT Universe email, I ordered the book, called Sherrie and started training to be certified. Our Heavenly Father who is crazy in love with us was missing from all the other formats I was seeing and hearing. I was not going to listen to another EFT practitioners script about the universe healing powers and now I see the light, blah, blah! Thank you Sherrie for letting the Holy Spirit guide your words as you wrote this book for all your brothers and sisters in Christ!

Written in a clear, concise manner. Easy to navigate. This book even has information on how to use EFT with children. Lots of good ideas of how to apply EFT into your own life. If you are trying to do EFT on your own, and you are "stuck", this book may help you get the freedom you want. I love this book and highly recommend it. No matter how much you think you know about EFT, this book will present you with additional and fresh, useful information. This book should be in everyone's library of good books.
