Good so far!
I do field repairs and have lost 2 flukes and a Klein. So now I keep my good meters in the shop. I bought this unit to make it easier if I lost it! Very compact and easy to use, the display does backlight and is easy to read in case anybody wondered I did not see this pointed out in the description, but it does have a backlight function. Very good audible alerts and so far it has been accurate. This unit comes with a case that also has enough room for me to store a compact digital temp gauge. I am impressed with this quality, time will tell. Affordable, compact, and feature packed!

Accurate enough
Works decently well. The accuracy is not the greatest, but sufficient enough for my needs.

Great clamp meter for a good price
Only affordable clamp ammeter capable of measuring DC amperage in the 0-20A range i would encounter on a boats 12V system

Perfect for DYI & light electrical works.
Does the job quite well.Has all the features you need including DC amps & capacitance(uF). Size is perfect.Only drawback is the short duration backlight.

Solid dependable meter
This is my go to for field trip in developing countries. I've passed on several of these to folks doing electrical work overseas. Always solid meter maximum voltage reading of 600 VAC or VDC. The 2 Amp full scale allows reading pretty small power draw equipment.

Good clamp meter
I give the clamp meter 4 stars. It surprisingly works. I brought it into work to compare it to other meters. Tested 0603C1.5nF, 0603C4.7nf, 1206C1.0nF, 0805C47uF, and 0603C680pF capacitors. Readings were very close to the five hundred dollar BK Precision 880. The BK 880 measured the 680pF at 707.3pF and the Uni-T measured it at .745nF. It not only measured nanofarad capacitors as good as the Amprobe 37XR-A, it was quicker at autoranging.Clamp meter was tested with various 0603 resistors and measured the values right on par with all of the meters in the picture.I tested the AC current draw of an 8.3 amp heat gun using a Klein Tools Line Splitter 10x and compared the reading to a Klein Tools CL900.In another AC current test, the Uni-T was tested measuring AC current energizing a coil. It matched the Klein Tools CL900.For a DC current test, the Uni-T meter was setup up to measure current of a DC stepper motor. As you can see, it pretty much matched the Fluke 179.I tested all of the other functions and everything worked. The backlight only stays on for about five or six seconds. I think that feature sucks. There is a hack you can do to reprogram the EPROM chip inside the unit to make it a 10,000 count meter. You can also change the backlight to stay on longer, set the meter to auto power off after 30 minutes and change the order of the AC/DC settings and the Resistance, Continuity, Capacitance, and Diode settings. Look up uni-t ut210e hack on Youtube and look for the 10,000 counts Clampmeter Upgrade for Beginners.I am going to keep this clamp meter since everything works on it. It will eventually get the upgrades to make it a better meter.6-15-2025Used the clamp meter today to check wristwatch battery. Lightly used multimeter leads failed to measure voltage. I tried Fluke brand leads with clamp meter and was able to read voltage. Test leads are not good quality. Buy better quality if you purchase this meter.

Great little meter
I got this little UNI-T because I need to do some work around the house and my Fluke can only handle 10A inline. I was worried it might be a little inaccurate so I decided to do a quick deviation test. 120V (my variac meter is off) through a 125W restive light should be somewhere abouts 1.042A. My Fluke reads 1.082 while this UNI-T reads 1.072 so color me quite impressed. Couple that with this being light weight, well built, and easy to use with one hand means this little meter is probably going to be my go to for working around the house. The only caveat to that is I am right handed, so trigger finger on the clamp and thumb on the dial. Lefties may have trouble running it one handed. The only thing I do not like about this meter is the probes but they are still pretty decent for the money. I will probably replace them with some silicone Pomonas eventually.

Tamper your expectations
Its a great little clamp meter. Don't be fooled by its advertised accuracy in the milliamps range, though. As expected for a DC meter this size and price, its almost impossible to physically use the meter in that range. The bloodflow and heartbeat in your hand will vary that reading wildly. A trick for this is to increase the magnetic field within the jaws by looping the same wire multiple times and dividing by the number of loops. Not really a con, just a reality of a product like this. It's a great "does everything" meter for a homeowner, or even anyone that works low voltage.
