Sleek!
We wanted something sleek and not industrial looking. This fits the bill perfectly! We got one for our main sink and our prep sink. Expensive but beautiful.

Poor design
The joystick control looks sleek and modern but water, soap, debris etc. will drip down from your hand and on to the joystick. Over time the movement of the joystick can get sticky from this and is no longer a joy to maneuver.

Impressed with the quality
Very high quality compared to the 5 year old Kohler fixure it replaced. Besides being great looking (and feeling), everything about this is better built, even the way the water flows is nicer, more of a true, quiet flow then overly aerated. Easy to install, the instructions are not great but it didn't take long to figure it out the pre-installation assembly. It takes only 4 hand tools to install this fixture. A phillips screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, a 16mm open end wrench and a 9mm open end wrench.I tried to buy this from one of my local plumbing supply companies but their snotty attitude and the fact that it would take longer to get from them then it did from Amazon using free shipping option. I never got far enough with them to even ask their price but i'm sure I saved a bunch too.

Great Design, Great Quality and Good Value
This item met my expectations. I was looking for great design and quality, at the right price. It is a beautifully finished and well-functioning product. Note that it does not meet Australian plumbing standards but it was a relatively easy fix to have 1/2" BSP (i.e. the Australia and rest-of-the world standard) end fittings (tap connectors) professionally installed as replacements for the 3/8" fittings that come as standard with this item.

Beautiful, excellent quality, worth it.
I wish these things didn't have to be so pricey, but it's clear why they are. It's an outstanding faucet in both design and quality. Typical German engineering paired with opinionated design choices. It's sad how spending less will get you dramatically less quality. I love using it as well as looking at it. The laminar flow might not be for everyone, it looks and feels great. But I'm a light kitchen user, and I think the spray mode would be the only way to do a lot of dishes effectively.

The specification says hose connector is 3/8Npt, then I buy the stop valve with link bellow to use with this faucet, but it doesn't fit at all?http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K4X92P2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=13/8 female faucet does not fit with 3/8 male stop valve! Which one is wrong? It makes me confuse.

I'm very happy with how well it works and looks
I'm very happy with how well it works and looks. I purchased it to match my appliances and sink finishes - plus wanting to have stunning sleek Starck design as a feature.Yet it is still functional kitchen pull-out faucet that you can live with everyday - well almost. It does take a while to get use to single sitck-like mixer tap handle arrangement though - as you adapt to how to turn on/off the water and adjust the flow. As it can be awkward for some- such as left-handed household members! If you can - it is best to go try at a local retailer and see if the handle arrangement is something you can live with - otherwise this will be a expensive mistake for you.Is it it practical or value for money ? Perhaps not - but I am happy I have purchased it. The retail cost of this model in Australia was almost double - so from that perspective it was actually excellent value.Like another Australian purchaser/reviewer - I had to purchase a NPT to BSP 1/2 inch adapter to have it fitted by my plumber.

Lever works backwards, very poor service
After installing our faucet we duscovered that the lever works backwards, i.e. need to move it up to close the water. It's really inconvenient and counterintuitive. Called Axor service, after one hour wait was told hat it's not right and that somebody will get back to me on how to fix it. Two weeks later, still no response. Two stars for a solid build and good-looking design.
