This was bought to use on glass and beads for jewellery making. The drill isn't suitable and is difficult to use and because it is unstable it means the glass drills are easily broken. Not a good outcome for this product.

If you are low-level hobbyist, this is just right.You get a two tools (pin vise drill and mini vise) that both work. The drill bits all cut.The pin drill is not a high-quality tool. The chuck is a little off-balance to the eye and the rotation has a fir bit of friction.But the drill does work. You get a lot for your money and, for occasional use, it is great value and works well. If you are planning to use these tools a lot, or are working where precision matters, I'd spend more. But for clearing the holes in model kits and making simple projects, they are ideal and I'd recommend this kit.

The vice works well and is well constructed. The drills are of a flat design (no pointed tip) so would not work on hard metals but is ok for soft metals, wood or plastic. Very happy with the purchase.

The vice is useful as it has bolt-on soft grips and the pin vice has a proper three jaw chuck rather than collets. The chuck thread happens to correspond to that of one of my minature multi-tools. The drill range is also useful whilst the shanked drills eliminate the need to keep changing collet size in a small multi-tool. Beware that these shanked drills have been hardened to the extent that some are brittle and break easily if accidently bent too far.
