Exactly what I expected
I built my own lathe and used this chuck and it worked perfectly! You do have to make your own backplate for it. And if they had a template for the mounting holes it would be quicker and foolproof.

Good quality
Good quality. Tightening and loosening the jaws are a little sticky. Hopefully will loosen over time. Im using this for a welding positioner. Over all good product.
