Chest=size 52 inches fits 3xl
When assessing size you have to sit down. If correct it should just sit on your waist seated - not above not below. The gap at the side should close just over your waist. If it overlaps a lot or does not touch you have the wrong size. The cover is washable at low temp but you should wear Under armour or Canterbury low sweat t shirts. Yes it is heavy but not crushingly so and you are still agile with this vest - if you are not then you have the wrong size. Price wise it is good value. It will stop a pistol not a rifle bullet. You are not immortal wearing this vest just better protected against knife wounds. Note the plural - if attacked seriously you can expect multiple stabs in quick succession so be prepared to punch your attacker hard in the eyes before he realises you are wearing protection. Then run.

Fits well
Easy to put on. You don’t have to get overheated in it either. I’d feel a bit odd though in only a shirt because the shoulders stick up a bit so I wear a jacket over the shirt at all times as well.

Good quality vest
The vest is very well made but not ideal for covert wearing under a soft clothing because shoulders run a bit too wide, so they're visible under a hoodie. Unless you have MASSIVE SHOULDERS. There's no armour inside shoulder part so they could me made a bit narrower.
