Greatest Appliance Ever Made!!
Best In EVERYTHING. Used this very same appliance in an older model while living in a relative's motorhome. Used it for about ten years and I cried when I built my new house and couldn't use that wonderful appliance any longer. Had all new appliances, but I didn't know that Sharp also made these for home use as well. I thought it was strictly an appliance made for RV motorhome kitchens. So dummy me got the closest thing I could find to Sharp's Convection/Microwave in a Frigidaire brand. So, I got my dream double oven from Frigidaire as well. BOTH BIG MISTAKES!! Finally found out that I CAN have a wonderful, beautiful, awesome perfect Sharp Convection/Microwave just like the old one I loved for so many years. Needless to say, I bought one ASAP and I have been thrilled once again. Wish Sharp also made the double oven of my dreams. If they did, I would rip that other POS out and buy a Sharp in that appliance too. Sharp Convection/Microwaves are the ABSOLUTE BEST APPLIANCES EVER!! In fact, my review today is not even for those two Sharps I already mentioned. In fact, THIS review is for the newest Sharp Convection/Microwave oven I purchased last September for the same relative whose old RV I used to live in. As he now owns a newer old motorhome, he needed to replace the ...you guessed it....Sharp Convection/Microwave it alreadyhad that was falling apart from so much use. So, naturally, we replaced it with another wonderful Sharp Convection/Microwave oven. And, it is purring like a kitten!! You can cook ANYTHING in these babies and it will come out perfect every single time. The touchscreen are extremely intuitive, well laid out, easy to customize. I have personally bake and roasted whole chickens, stuffed chickens, pork loins, cakes, cookies, brownies, casseroles, grilledvegetables. Grill the quickest, easiest, best tasting fresh salmon steaks in it with no mess to clean up afterwards!! Also has an awesome cookbook that has numerous pictures and detailed explanations in it as to all of its capabilities. Plus, the operating manual is written by pros!! Everything in plain English. Great photos, guidance, and recipes.

Lies!!! Not 850 Watt, however it's pretty amazing!
First thing to point out is the complete lie in the description. I purchased this to install in my of grid RV. I have my own solar power and as such I'm always looking for lower power consumption appliances. I love the dual functionality of this oven but the stated power draw is way lower than actual. My system has circuit monitoring so I get real time usage. This microwave pulls 1650 Watts of power rendering it useless in my setup unless I'm plugged into the grid. I love the way it looks, the function, and the cost for function is excellent when compared to the market. I just wish I could use it when boondocking without worrying about power consumption. I need to point out that I'm rating the microwave itself for functionality, controls, looks, and ease of install. Buyer beware that no new microwave is set up for venting, they're always set up for recirculation. I had to uninstall, flip the fan, and reinstall to get the vent to work properly.

Very nice piece of kit. Great upgrade.
I bought this to upgrade the original (1850-A) model in our RV. It took me around 15 mins to remove the old one; the 1874-T comes with a new backplate which is identical to the 1850-A one but I decided to renew it as the old one had 12 years' worth of work supporting the relatively-heavy microwave - that was only 8 minutes and 24 screws extra. Once that was on, I prepped a raised surface on the stove cover, lifted the new oven up onto the temporary stand, threaded the power cable through the slot where it needed to go into the cupboard above, and again lifted oven so the back base caught the backplate allowing the top of the oven to be pushed back and into place. Held it, tightened the two long 45º bolts onto the backplate and drilled three holes through the existing over-cupboard frame into the oven top to fasten it with three 2½" metal screws. Everything worked on the run-through so I'm happy it all seems fine. Case was a little damaged during shipping but it's out of sight so didn't matter to me. Lots of great features to play with so the Better Half is all smiles and I'm in the good books. 😎

Only lasted 3 months
Worked so good for 3 months. The sensor reheat button is magical. 3 months in I tried to warm up a burrito, a loud hum accompanied by an electrical burning smell caused me to stop and unplug the microwave. Too late to return to Amazon, so now dealing with Sharp. They want a video for proof? There is no visible damage on the outside. Waiting for their reply… Sharp called and said that the loud noise and inability to heat food was due to some food spots in the cooking area that they saw in the requested video. They will not do anything to fix it. Save your money folks

Best Convection/Microwave combination ever made!
I decided to replace our 32 year old Sharp Carousel in our '92 Country Coach. I was limited in choice by lack of room for door opening, We really loved our Carousel, and it really was an easy choice going with it's replacement. Contrary to a lot of other Motorhome owners who commented, I have the original model, and it was an inch taller, and the back support likewise was taller, and had different fastening system, and the holes were all in different locations. Needless to say, It was an easy installation, with clear instructions and 2 diagrams to pin up for hole location. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating, is the dent in the door, and the section above. The damage doesn't align with any of the damage done to box. I did not see these until it was installed, I'm 70, and not going to do it again, so I'll live with it. I still love it! It's just as noisy as my original, upon start-up, but then runs quieter throughout the cooking process. The over counter light is one level, whereas my old had a Hi-lo setting. Not a big deal. Love the looks, and more metal on the door. My old unit had more plastic, and it was getting brittle. Of course, after 32 years of cooking!

A perfect fit
This item was a perfect replacement for one that we had had in our motorhome for 20 years. I didn’t have to change a single screw or bolt. It just went in where the other one came out and it works perfect.

Great Convection Microwave
I live full-time in a Class A motor coach. I use my microwave/convection oven for the majority of my cooking needs. This Convection Microwave was a replacement for the original. It is great quality, looks nice, and is a very good size for cooking for 2-3 people. I love that you can turn off the turn table if you are using the convection mode and a rectangular sheet pan versus a round pan. Not many Convection Microwaves have this feature, and it is important for me. This oven cooks fast and evenly. It is a great, multi-use oven and a good value.

It is the only 110 V over the range microwave that I could find that can double as a regular oven.
We are living in our motor home and the microwave is the only oven we have. We had a GE combination microwave, convection and regular oven and loved it but it quit working after 14 years and it’s not available anymore. A lot of other brands claim microwave and convection but are just a microwave with a fan. They won’t roast or bake or grill like your regular oven does but the sharp does.
