IceToolzDeluxe Crank Tool with Handle – Thin-Walled Cr-Mo Steel for BMX & SunTour Freewheels

I came across the Ice Toolz searching for another tool and was quiet intrigued.I have the Park compact crank removal tool CWP-7 used for years now successfully. Recently came across this Ice Toolz 04A5 crank puller, which appears to be another model of their crank removal multi tool with handle.The other model is the 04S1 Crank Tool with Ergonomic Handle. There are you tube videos for both tools.Ice Toolz function is similar to the Park CWP-7, except having a built in handle, 14 and 15mm and 2 built in allen wrenches.I liked the fact that the tool contained the handle instead of reaching for a wrench. I was concerned that the pull out handle may not hold up. However, trying the tool out on a 1986 Schwinn World Sport crank for removal the tool performed flawlessly.

I bought this to fix a long running issue with bike noise from the crank, easy to use, handle or spanner feature takes a bit getting used to but this is all you need to remove a crank arm if you checked this is the right fitting. I have a shimano drive train on a ridgeback MTB.Highly recommended tool.

Love it - well thought through tool that makes taking the cranks of easy (first time for me). Worked like a charm on my Cannondale M700 (1993).Can recommend this without hesitation. Youtube has good general instruction videos, tool is fool proof.
