This is a first impression review!I gave this item only 2 stars because all I did was open the box to see it. I have not put this netting up yet for our backyard rink.But,my first impression is that there is no possible way this quality of netting will ever stop a puck shot at it.For hockey families out there I’m sure you all know what knee hockey is?Well this netting is the EXACT SAME as a knee hockey netting. Just larger!Since the weather has been to warm for the ice to freeze here in CT,I have not put up the backstop for the rink. With colder weather coming,today I will be putting up the backstop.What I’m going to do is basically double up the net by folding it in half. Hopefully that will make the netting more formidable and strong from pucks punching through.I do have a much larger gauge net(12x20. Not sure of exact gauge. But easily 5x thicker!) placed directly behind the goal.This netting was more so to extend the backstop netting and protect mostly from deflections off the posts/goalie. Most likely won’t get direct impact. Thank god because there absolutely no way this netting could hold up!Like I said,this is just a first impression review solely based on sight and touch. Not performance!Although I do know how hard a puck can be shot and how flimsy knee hockey netting is.I will review this product after some use and being outside through winter conditions.For now I would say don’t waste your money and spend the extra cash on netting you KNOW will stand up to the shots.

Excellent net for catching lacrosse balls. The net was very easy to install on some 4X4 posts and has been up for about 4months. Drape the net so that it hangs loosely and you will have no problems with durability. However, you should buy more length than you think you will need. I bought 30 feet and now wish I bought 50.

I was a little hesitant about the quality after seeing how thin netting was, BUT since I got it's held up well. After taking LAX balls, I'm actually impressed and there not getting lost in woods

Good price and good quality net , im using it for the basemant for a table tennis set up and does the perfect job for keeping the balls inside, perfect for Ping Pong balls!

It does work as the seller advertised, the middle does have to hang low on top for bottom to hit the ground. It's ok, price is good. I regular rectangular net made for a backstop might have been better.

This product works well and covers the area represented in the measurements. Make sure to hang from a rope strung through the top holes in the netting.

This net is pretty thin but did the trick. Removing it from our hockey rink was not fun and the net seem to weather quite easily.

We actually bought this net to hang across our balcony to prevent our cats from jumping over. It works like a charm and after 2.5 years in the baking Dubai heat, is still in perfect condition.
