I got these to tuck away in a spot close to the dryer to hang clothing as I take it out of the dryer, then move right to the closet. I don't need a long rod as it is just my husband & I now so the space to hang clothing is plenty big enough. Pop it closed when not in use & you barely notice it. The other I think we will put in the RV. Handy little gadget! I am very pleased.
