I love this book
It’s Ernie and Bert. Who wouldn't love this book? It’s a percent match for the Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch book

Too Cute!
I joke with my husband that Ernie was my first love (though I have a lot of Bert tendencies). This was a fun, whimsical book—bravo on such a great cover.

Awkward read
I'm a lifelong Ernie fan, and my best friend and I have a past experience that makes us relate fondly to Ernie and Bert. Also, I still enjoy my childhood Sesame Street books now that I'm the adult reading the books to the kids. As a result of these sentiments and the usual high quality of Sesame Street books, I pre-ordered this book, expecting that it would be just perfect for my friend and me. Fortunately, I ordered only one so I could check it out for myself before buying a second for my friend. After reading the book, I decided not to get a copy for my friend. The book construction is fine, the pictures are nice, the design is ok. The problem is the writing itself. It's meant to be humorous, but it just isn't. Imagine hearing a speech by someone you admire, and that speaker decides to throw in some jokes, and those jokes fall so flat that it's awkward for all of the listeners. That's what this book is like. Reading this book is like witnessing a life-long friend embarrass himself in public. In addition, the writing doesn't have the Ernie and Bert kind of voice; it does make a lot of references to Ernie and Bert's personalities and to Sesame Street sketches, but it's hard to imagine this book's words in the voices of Ernie and Bert. I'd recommend this book only to people who are huge collectors of Ernie and Bert books and want a complete collection.

Eh.
Cute photos but content may as well have been written by a bot.

Nice little book
A Nice book for any Bert and Ernie enjoyer, easy to read and has a quiz in the back to find out if you're more of a Bert or an Ernie. The front cover has sort of a... shudder? Effect? Where you can pull the tab at the top and it changes to The Importance of being Bert (and Ernie), really cool.

Pretty good
I thought it would be more about them being friends but there was a big emphasis on their differences instead. A fun book but definitely not the best Sesame Street book. I recommend Love The Fur You’re In over this one. That being said you gotta love that pigeon loving, paper clip collecting muppet Bert!
