Great strings giving a nice retro sound - and they feel great too! Like a previous reviewer I put these on a K. Yairi G1F (00-type of guitar) and it's a perfect match!

I bought these nickel wound strings to put on my new resonator guitar. They look and sound gorgeous. However the D (4th) string broke! as I started winding on the string. Can only assume there was a flaw in the string. Not what I was expecting and undermines my confidence in them. Although, having completed the restring for the rest, I have ordered another set, in hope that was a one-off weakness.

These strings sound very different to any my son has had before, but after a short while he fell in love! They are stunning!

I have a K. Yairi G 1F (00 body size) which I have always felt needed a little more "zing" in the top end of the wound strings; something which I thought may be remedied by using nickel, as opposed to bronze strings. Tried a couple of different sets but, although the results were good, I was still not quite satisfied. Tried these on a whim really but I was encouraged by the fact they are described as being "Acoustic" strings. The effect is stunning. Exactly what I have been looking for. Brilliant clarity on all the strings, plain and wound!!

Didn't really like the strings, a bit flat sounding, I was expecting them to sound a bit dryer than the phozzy bronze I am used to - just wasn't expecting it to be so dramatic, only lasted a day on the guitar . Service and delivery was great, this is just my opinion of the strings themselves.

Excellent sounding strings.
