It works using air to pump in, very similar to how a doctor office puts the blood pressure cuff on your upper arm. It has 3 different intensity settings that allow you to dictate how much pressure you want, and the middle setting has good pressure.The foot massage does a great job getting all of the meaty parts of your foot, including the top. It does not have any pressure for the bottom of the heel however.The calf massage does a great job getting the gastrocnemius and soleus, though I didn't feel much around my achilles. It does have pressure building up there, I just don't think the velcro gets tight enough around my ankle to reach those muscles/tendons.I also didn't need feel it on my anterior tibialis, though I'm sure if I rotate the positioning of the massager on my legs the pressure can be applied to it. As it is "directed" to be worn, however, the calves are the only muscle being massaged.The controller is very simple to use and the buttons are easy to find and press.Noise:Very quiet in use. Subtle noise that can easily be fallen asleep while using it. Listen to the video to hear it in action.Final thoughts:Never used a massager like this on my legs before, I use the massage gun and R8 recovery roller. This does things different than what they can do.It applies pressure to the entirety of the muscle, than than 1 specific spot. The added heat option is also very nice.The 1 thing I wish it could have was a rolling function that would start at the top of the muscle and slowly work down, rather than it always being full pressure applied.Overall nicely done and am enjoying the use.

extremely easy to use. no assembly and can be used straight out of the box. the air compression leg massagers wrap around your calves and feet. the massagers are clearly marked, L- left and R- right. the massagers have sufficient velcro on both the feet and calves to provide a snug fit for all sizes. controller is super easy to read and use. the ease of use and design eliminates the need for a lengthy instruction manual. should consult a doctor if you are a pregnant women, children or elderly; suffer from skin infections or have redness or burns on the skin; pacemaker or similiar implanted device; heart disease or malignant tumors; if you recieving medical treatment or feel discomfort; suffering from oesteoporosis; high blood pressure or abnormal blood pressure; is not to be used for medical purposes.I have used every other day and have felt improved circulation and reduced muscle aches in legs and ankles.there are two settings, sequence and massage. sequence has three settings to vary between calves and feet. massage has two settings for either calves or feet. There are four intensity levels for each setting.each setting last 15 minutes and I typically use at least two different settings at varying intensities every other day. I am having surgery in a couple of weeks and plan to use twice a day while in bed recovering.Another benefit I have realized is an improved energy level and fell more awake after each session. when researching the variety products available I chose this product because of the brand name and flexible leg massagers. I have never been disappointed with a Renpho product. In addition, the flexible fabric allows for a variety of body positions. I have used in a reclined position or (my favorite) on a recliner. Many of the other calf and foot massagers require you remain in an upright seated position.

Comfortable and light weight. They massaged and compressed well. My only small complaint is the fit around the feet. I wish the foot section was more adjustable for a slightly better fit. Other than that, I’m pleased.

I am a runner, and work in a gym so it's safe to say I am on my feet a lot. I used a Normatec awhile back and was really happy with the results but could not justify the price tag. I love this Renpho system because it applies a similar amount of pressure as the Normatec. It's like a giant blood pressure cuff for the calves and feet . It goes through cycles of applying and then releasing pressure in 15 minutes. I feel great after each 15 minute session.There is a handheld control system like the Normatec. It has a 15 minute timer as well. I recommend using it at least once a day, while you are relaxing watching TV. There are four intensities on it. You can tell that the highest intensity is in fact the highest, but it does not hurt you. The pressure is just right. My calves are 14 inches and I wear a size 7 shoe, and I had no issues with the fit.I recently started developing symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis, likely due to not stretching my calves and feet enough. I occasionally get massages to solve this issue, however I cannot get a massage due to the current COVID-19 shelter in place. This leg/foot massager has filled that void for me and has started to relieve the discomfort I am experiencing.I would recommend this system to any active person, any person who experiences pain, or any person who wants to simply feel good!
