Review: Magic Eraser! - Absolutely amazing product! Yes, it's definitely the "magic eraser" being manufactured and sold by 3M but it simply amazes me that it cleaned SO WELL. I'm talking permanent pen marks that have been on my board for almost 10 years from that one time someone used a permanent pen for one letter on the board before realizing it was a Sharpie, not an expo. Since then, we've been doing our best to use that portion of the board to write the items that purposely utilize that one letter! In one foul swoop, this eraser came and not only wiped that letter off, it cleaned all the streaks from previous erasers and even cleared those shadow letters left behind from darker pens. I definitely recommend this product. I don't know how long it will last because I know those magic erasers don't last very long in and of itself.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What makes these erasers different from just a sponge (that's what they look like)? What scientifically speaking makes them special?**
A: Excellent question. A sponge would disintegrate on multiple hard contacts with another surface. The chemicals in the markers would help this process along. These erasers have matrlerial that makes them more durable to multiple uses and stands up better to the markers. All they need is to be washed and dried every now and then. Sponges may be able to do the same thing, but would not last as long.

**Q: Can you wash them when they full of marker**
A: So sorry it's taken me so long to respond.  Yes, when marker gets on the eraser you can rinse it off.  It's a great white board eraser!

**Q: Can these work on chalkboards?**
A: The smooth side might, but for traditional chalkboards, I recommend the sturdier, tougher erasers. These would fall apart quicker on a chalkboard.

**Q: Can these be used as an everyday dry erase eraser (i.e. without adding water)?  Or more designed for a thorough board cleaning (w/out using cleanser)?**
A: I use them everyday without water.  They clean the board perfectly and leave no smudges.

Absolutely amazing product! Yes, it's definitely the "magic eraser" being manufactured and sold by 3M but it simply amazes me that it cleaned SO WELL. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the stains off!

These are great. They are like magic erasers for a dry erase board. They take off the marker when a regular eraser won't, and are great for the "deep clean" type of an erase. The negatives are that sometimes you need to put a bit of water on it to make it work the best, so not always convenient to just leave on the dry erase board. Also, the color from the marker will stay on this eraser, and dye the white part. Even with the downfalls, it works great and saves the dry erase board well. I use them on my "dry-erase notebook," my notebook that has dry erase pages in it, and it works great.
