Essie Gel Couture is the only non-gel nailpolish that lasts 2 weeks without chipping. I learned from a manicurist that one of the tricks is to clean your nails first with nail polish remover, then put on 2 coats (letting dry between), then the essie gel couture top coat and then it lasts as long as the salon and you don't have to pay to have it removed when you want to change colors! I love this color for the fall. I found it on the Essie website but was unable to get it locally and it arrived in perfect shape.

This is a great brand, does on easy and lasts. Also is smooth and shiny.

Essie usually is my favorite polish. But this color is very flat and looks like rust from a car and it chipped off a couple fingers the day after I applied it.

I paired this polish with Sally Hansen gel-like top coat and was impressed with how long the polish lasted before chipping. I really love this color for my (olive) skin tone

Not gel-like at all. Simply normal nail polish, meaning it chips off in a day or two. Very pretty color however, and opaque.

I absolutely love the colour. I love autumn colours and this fits the bill to a T..it dries in seconds which is amazing. I only applied 1 coat to one finger to test and its never budged!

Il est plus doré que cuivré malgré ce que montrent les photos du site. J ai essayé de vous mettre vidéos et photos pour que vous vous rendiez compte des belles nuances qu il a en fonction de l exposition a la lumière. Il s applique très bien. J ai mis 2 couches de vernis et 2 couches du top coat adapté au vernis pour avoir un effet gel comme en institut. Je laisse sécher 20 min entre chaque couche pour être sûre qu'il soit bien sec. N oubliez pas de le passer au bout de l ongle pour faire une bordure pour qu il ne s écaille pas. Les vernis de cette marque gel couture durent du dimanche au vendredi au moins. Le vendredi ils commencent un peu à s écailler. Mais on peut faire des retouches. Par contre si vs voulez le garder effet gel n hésitez pas à remettre du top coat tous les 2 jours. Et pour le préserver utilisez une brosse pour faire la vaisselle. C est de petites astuces mais ça vs permet de le garder une semaine au moins et sans abîmer vos ongles. C est une bonne alternative au " vernis semi permanent sous lampe UV" qui rend les ongles tous mous pendant plusieurs mois. Le gel couture de essie n abîme pas les ongles et avec le top coat mis très facilement et régulièrement donne un effet brillant comme le semi permanent. Après, moi j aime changer la couleur toute les semaines donc pour moi c est le produit parfait. Secouez le bien avant chaque application.

I'd heard such good things, but I just can't get it to stay for more than a day or two without it chipping or peeling. I use the Essie top coat, I've tried applying it in different ways and every time it chips and then peels off like children's nail varnish. I have no idea what I couldn't possibly be doing wrong, as I don't have this issue with other nail varnishes. On the plus side the colour is gorgeous. I just wish I could get it to last like everyone else seems to be able to do.
