For the price I could not imagine that they would have been as good as they turned out to be. I needed a set of casters for my Honda 3000i generator because I was tired of lugging around that 93 pound hulk when ever I needed it some where. So at 93 pounds I needed something sturdy with good wheel locks. I took a chance on these casters. When I got them right away I saw how well they were made. I mounted them on my generator and now that thing glides around the work shop floor with ease. The Honda wheel kit was to bulky and would not fit through my RV door. These casters stay inside the foot print of the generator and make it so easy to move that my 8 year old can move the bulky equipment with ease. The wheel locks are easy to operate with your toe and hold the generator steady when it is running and with the polyurethane wheels it stays right where you park it. I am going to buy another set for a couple of furniture movers that I have and trade out the warn out casters.

I have a very heavy and klutzy bike rack: which holds my trike and my wife's bike at the same time. A nice device but it has felt like an accident waiting to happen as I move it back and forth from where I store it and my car's trailer hitch. I tried using a couple of different dollies. The rack would slip and drop between the trusses as I tried shoving the 2 1/2" wheels past sidewalk cracks.So I used these wheels to make my own dolly with a pair of movable fences. As my needs change I can shift the fences to new positions to suit the need whether moving a rack or sheets of plywood. In this case I placed the fences 2" apart, at the dolly's middle, to snugly hold the receiver tongue. The combination of the tight fit with the large wheels lets me move the rack easily past some impressive gaps in the sidewalk.

I want to share the actual dimensions of this 4" caster.With the 4" caster sitting on the plate, the overall height is 5.01". The wheel's axle centerline is 3.24" above the backside of the plate. The caster swivels wiithin a 6.01" diameter circle. The wheel diameter is almost 4.03".

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We ordered these for replacement wheels for 18 carts in our shop and they were rated at 1200 lbs each. Unfortunately they do not hold that amount of weight. The inside parts break down and come apart. Sadly we were past our return/exchange date by the time this happened. I caution you, they probably hold closer to 600 lbs only.We were excited to find them at the price, they arrived looking very sturdy and durable. But they just didn't hold up, we have had about 6-10 sets break down in less than a month of use.

I've already purchased 2 sets of theses and will be purchasing a 3rd. These casters are awesome. They roll very smooth and the locking mechanism is easy to operate while tight enough to keep my gear stationary. The first set I ordered I used to replace the stock casters on a platform dolly that only had 2" hard wheels (which are useless for me). I loved them so much I ordered a second set and retrofitted my RIGID crates by bolting them to the bottom. Now I can roll my cables around and it my crates are off the floor. I'll be ordering a 3rd set to build a 2nd platform dolly.

I’m writing this after the install on a miter saw stand build. These are excellent as of now. One concern I had was with the locking mechanism because of a number of reviews complaining about them being hard to unlock. On my stand I can lock and unlock with my foot rather easily but it engages and disengages the way it should: not sloppy but firm. They roll easy and smooth. Good product and here before I expected them. I have a 4 on sturdy because I want to see how they are later on. Seem very sturdy though.

Maybe I got a fluke caster, but on my third use, one of them broke. I move furniture on them, well within the weight limit. I had high hopes for these casters to last me years, but for me, this ain't it. I own a moving company, so I was happy to find what looked like a high quality caster. I bought these a while ago, but only installed them a week ago. Don't be like me - install purchased parts right away, or you'll blow your return-by date

these are nice easy rolling and locking casters. im very satisfied. i ordered two more sets of these but this time it was four locking casters and these are not all that great. the swivel housing that holds the bearings must have a rough surface because when they are swiveled there is a bit of grinding. the part that holds the wheel is not pressed into the base very straight. there is a difference in the gap from side to side. fortunately these wont have a lot of weight on them so im hoping they will hold up.

I bought these to add mobility to a Shop Vac with added dust collector cart. I chose the 4" wheel size because I need to use this cart in my yard and driveway when working with my mobile table saw and mitre saw. They roll extremely well, swivel easily and when locked they are very solid. I really like the fact that both the swivel and rolling action are locked. Have only used the cart indoors so far but it is working great with these casters.

Stronger than hulk Hogan and as smooth as Barry White.
