I saw this trainer block and it took me awhile to order it because of the price. I know there is another popular brand block that is a bit more even. Any way this works very nicely. It does not move around, I have it on a carpeted floor and I found the height I wanted, hence no need for the wood plank set up. I like how there is a good amount of bike tire length that fits in the block and how the block hugs the tire, I think that is what makes the big difference. From time to time I stand up and pedal, I am careful but I feel secure in doing this. This piece of equipment was worth it. I got the blue one.
