PERFECT
Product is nice and sharp. My old one had rusted out over the years this has been the perfect too for big and small Yard work projects.

3 pair ordered will probably purchase more
I work at a licensed commercial medical cannabis grow, I personally have felco brand bypass pruners that I use they was gifted to me years ago. I was looking for something a little easier on my check to gift to some of the employees I work with, so I did some searching and reading a lot of reviews. These had great reviews and a great price point ($11-13) so I ordered a pair got them and tried them out on my old magnolia tree... more than sufficient for 1" branches of hard wood and I have cut thicker than 1.5" cannabis stalks with them. The scissors are ok... great for trimming thin stuff such as leaves topping plants and taking clones. Not the best for trimming buds I feel the extra length of the scissors take away from the maneuverability. If I could change 1 thing it would be the locking mechanism while it is good and functions perfectly I have grown fond of the felco lock design. But it takes nothing away from how they perform.A++ purchase

Solid construction
These are well made, metal shears. The construction of them is high quality, everything is very solid in your hand and the squeezing action is very fluid and effortless. The hardware and springs that hold everything together is also of high strength and should hold up for a very long time. The rubber grips do not give a ton of comfort, but do allow for a firm grip (especially with gloves on). The grips do seem to be from a dipped rubber, so hopefully these will make them hold up longer than the molded ones that can often easily be pulled off as nothing really grips it to the metal. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars are the safety mechanisms. On the narrow, straight shears I would prefer a button safety rather than a simple band around the bottom to keep them closed as I do not see the rubber strap it was manufactured with lasting very long. The safety button on the wider shears is easy to use and works consistently, but feels a little...wobbly for lack of a better word and over time I am worried it may become prone to failing and popping open on its own (especially with how garden tools are frequently dropped or tossed aside when you need your hands to clean up what you just sheared).

Worth the purchase
Both pairs of shears are very heavy duty and made of quality materials. The only negative is the pvc sleeve on the straight shears slides off while in use.

Great hobby shears
Just like they were advertised. They cut pinecones very well.

Works well, sharp
Fit well in your hand, comfortable, good spring to open and shut, good quality, durable, and easy to maneuver, would recommend for a light and easy yet sturdy and sharp pair for your garden

Buy these!!!
I love them! They cut well and are light weight and easy to find with the red handles, when you put them down in the garden. I have others but these are my go to shears, to get a job done quickly. I just ordered another pair for a friend. Great price too!

spring detaches--very annoying
I am a person who constantly loses tools in my jungle of a yard. It would be traumatic for me to lose, say, Felco pruners. i like this price so I can get replacements from time to time. These cut well enough, but the spring falls off, which is really annoying. I am not such a serious gardener that i need expensive tools.
